Now that I've had one, my impression is just another great IPA. Reminds me of the Block 15 Hop Shop birthday beer a few months ago only that one was better.
Just my superficial impression and I'm sticking to it.

Cans I picked up at Bottleworks were 5/31/16, which seems fairly reasonable. Looking forward to this one!

had a 5/19 and a 5/31. both are fine. no difference to me.

I like this years a lot. the nose on it is fantastic. definitely one of the best available IPAs for the summer

2014 is still the gold standard, but this is better than last year in my opinion and a close 2nd to 2014

I really liked the original 2013 batch, too. They've all been good.

Picked up a couple of 4 packs - dated 5/25. Just echoing..."nose is fantastic." I am really digging this 3-way. This may be blasphemous, but I like it better than 2014.

Just had my 2nd can tonight, with a day in-between... I hate to say it but I'm not really digging it. I'm a bit disappointed. I don't know if it's due to hype of the other two breweries involved or wishing for something on the level of the 2014 version or what.

And @crusian actually hit on something I was tasting as well. Hate to say it, but it's there. FWIW, the cans I had were dated 5/31.

Grabbed a 4-pack of the 5/19 cans last night. Taking them to a birthday party later today, will report back.

I know we are all still enjoying 2016s version and it is awesome but i was thinking today about next year...what if they did a brett IPA with Holy Mountain and Anchorage? A HM/Anchorage/Ft G. wild IPA in a can...

I would be concerned about running a brett beer through their canning line.

does brett beer not do well in cans? i was thinking it would be cool because i cant remember seeing brett beers in cans before...maybe there is a reason for that...

Just hire a mobile canning company you don't like. Sanitation afterwards can be their problem.

funny, this beer really made this more evident to me. i have had times where i like a beer more/less based on what i had eaten or drank before, environment, etc. but with this year's 3 Way it was the most extreme example i have ever experienced. i had a couple half pints at the brewery and a couple cans during the following few days and really enjoyed the beer each time. Brought some cans back with me and cracked one after having a couple of other hop forward beers at a nearby brewery and YUCK! Hated it. Couldnt even finish it...i knew it was good because i had enjoyed it on tap and out of the can multiple times from the same batch but just couldnt drink it. was actually pretty upset with myself for opening the can because it was my last one and that is how i will remember the 2016 batch...I will just try to dwell on the better times we had...we will always have Astoria.

I like it. Had my first can last night. It was the first beer I drank that evening and enjoyed it right away whereas last year's took a little while to grow on me. I did end up loving 2015 and found myself grabbing as many cans as I could before it was gone. My expectations probably would have been higher this year, but had already read comments here. It didn't blow me away, but it is a very good West Coast IPA. It does have something unique about it though. I picked up elements of several similar IPAs, but hard to make a direct comparison. I will be drinking a lot of this this summer.

Side note: Had an Ace of Spades on tap at Bike Bar later on and thought it was fantastic. I always liked that one, but it seems really dialed in this year. Also had a Melvin Hop Shocker on tap at Bridgetown which was also great.

Finally had some on tap at Elizabeth Station last night. I think the final version of 3 Way is vastly improved over what the first Beta iteration I had back in April. This one is great, not as good as 2014, but damn good in its own right. Really great mango like flavor on the finish.

And their second hop addition was "Simcoe, and a lot of it."

Yeah there's something different about it up front that I didn't love, but didn't dislike. This is what I thought was unique. Maybe it's the Simcoe. The nose and the finish are great though.

I'm definitely with you on the aroma. This beer smells like a mango-and-tangerine-infused litter box. Fortunately, it tastes better, or so I'd assume, having never had the opportunity to actually drink cat pee, with or without fruit juice.

Oh man you're missing out. Cat pee is infused with lectrolytes. It's got what plants crave.
