Now that sounds like a deeply personal question!

Judging by the bottle I had, those First Nails are drinking really well right now.

I was surprised as hell to see them in a grocery store in Kennewick. Around the same time, they showed up in Spokane as well, both places' bottles from 2015.

Do they still use the plastic skull? Cuz that's cool as fuck. Kinda like Optimator (wasn't it Optimator with the plastic goat?), but way more badass.

No clue, there's only been one release of RN so far. We'll find out soon enough.

Picked one up. There's one left Kennewick Albertsons (on Clearwater).

Actually, Celebrator was what I was thinking of with the goat (as you probably were tactfully aware of. I get the name mixed up with a local doppelbock called Congratulator - incidentally, we need more local doppelbocks).

Too cynical for me, and especially because it's quite before the fact. People can still be good neighbors...if they want to be. The beer hasn't even been released yet, for Christ's sake...

I wouldn't know how fresh first nail drinks, but you are right sir. It is amazing right now.

If I wasn't heading out of town on a camping trip, I would be revisiting Albertson's...so it may be there when you get into town.

I can't imagine how mind blowing rusty nail is gonna taste. Alas, I doubt Albertson's will be getting this. But, I guess you never know.

This is brewery only, not distro right? I'm in Spokane until Thursday morning and I assume my chances of getting a bottle are 0%, but if they're actually .001% that's cool

According to the op, a limited amount will be sent to Colorado, Idaho and Oregon. So no, this will apparently not be a brewery only relesse.

I think @Texwild said it's going to be distributed beyond just the brewery, but if, when and where it might land in Spokane? Who knows...

As noted above, 2015 First Nail only arrived fairly recently (and might well be gone by now). Rusty Nail might well not make it here at all.

Spokane and Eastern Washington will most definitely receive the Rusty Nail. We don't have total control (although that would be cool as snot) over where it is sold but we are shipping to Spokevegas and beyond (Idaho gets 30 cases which is a lot of this release & Colorado gets the same and Oregon gets 40 ). We are working hard to make sure that Rusty Nail is sold only into the right spots but, again, we don't have complete control over distribution...because that would make us like InBev, and that would suck.

Our labels are delayed at the printers so we will release this the last week of June instead of before Fathers Day. While I'm bummed about the delay, the Rusty Nail was released from its long barrel rest last week and is ready to drink...or to age. I hope this beer is enjoyed as much as we have enjoyed sampling from the barrels for the last year and a half or so as she has matured and mellowed.

    What's one more week, or
two, in a year? Thanks, simply,
    for bringing it back.
