Post a pic that tells why you'd marry your spouse all over again.

Because she tolerates my beer obsession with grace and a great sense of humor.....

Ok, we're not married, but we may as well be. Here's what I got for our first Valentines Day years ago (forget what I got her):
A weekend with a tour of Flying Dog.

Plus there's this, from her ticking app:

Granted, the database on this app isn't overly well kept up, and there can be multiple duplicates, but still.

Cool idea for a thread, hoping for some fun responses.

She is of Polish heritage, thus she likes kielbasa, sauerkraut and beer. I love her and the same food family (and those foods are all in the same family in my definition), and I have kept her for 44 years. Since back then, the beers have evolved into craft beers as we've both grown into this culture, and we both still enjoy the kielbasa and sauerkraut with any beer that happens to be in our fridge.

We're not married, but she puts up with long nights at bars, countless bottle releases, and is very knowledgeable of sours. She also bought me plane tickets to Belgium so I can spend my birthday at Cantillon in October (I screamed like a little girl).

I probably should take the plunge at some point. She's cool. I guess.

Because even with a gluten allergy, every time I pour a new beer she asks if she can try it.

My wife, even though not much of a drinker herself, has come to two beerfests with me (in the nine months I've been into craft), with another couple, and another female friend - and acted as DD along with the other wife. While three of us drink ourselves stupid, the two wives drink pop, help find the freebies, and watch the drunks, including us. Then we go out to supper where they can watch us try to function on 150-200 ounces of craft each.

My wife is my enabler . Many trips to Whole Foods she picks up a bomber of something I'll like but haven't had... today she txt'd me that the local Costco had started carrying bombers, complete with Enjoy By pic because she knows I'm a big fan (and was happy to pick me up a bottle). But the truest sign was hanging out with our 14 month old son for hours while I stood in line at Hill Farmstead in 50 degrees-and-cloudy to get a few howlers of the good stuff while on vacation. She still says the point when the vacation started improving was when we visited The Alchemist on that trip.

I'm right there with you - my wife is allergic to gluten and she comes on beer-centric trips with me about once a month!

Because she booked a trip to Rehoboth Beach to check out DFH brewpub for the first time for my 40th birthday. This pic is at DFH brewpub a few years later because now we go every summer for our family vacation. And of course because she looks so happy and beautiful there as well. And...she digs craft beer too and never gives me shit for running off to Kane, Carton, Magnify, etc. for the latest releases.

Because she has the idea to drive 3 hours to Firestone Walker at 4am and wait 4 hours in 32-degree weather so we can get Parabajava..

Because she's a doctor and I can buy any beer I want without concern for the price (though I still do).

because when the table is set for a formal dinner and the finest china and crystal is set for everyone, i still have my favorite snifter next to the crystal water glass.

also she knows that anytime we go anywhere out of state, a beer store, or better yet, brewery run has to be part of the daily schedule

Because on my day off she woke me up to tour the Sweetwater Brewery, which is two hours away, and let me get a few souvenirs from the trip and was actually excited to be there with me and tasted quite a few of the beers herself. Every time I crack open a new bottle she will ask to try. She has even insisted that I begin home brewing on several occasions. She's very supportive of my hobby and passion. But of course there are far more important reasons why I married her! (like love, happiness, ability to tolerate my gross manly habits, her great looks and personality, etc.)

Not married, but soon to be.

Picture at the bottom...Here are some reasons though:

#1: She's the reason why I even got into photography, started a website, and take pictures while traveling all over the place.

#2: She'll encourage my crazy beer hauls. She actually enjoys them because anything she picks up because it looks "fun" to her further encourages it.

#3: She'll help stage my pictures even though she has no care in the world for the actual thing, she knows it's important to me.

#4: For my 35th birthday, she took me to Dogfish Head, Mispillion River, and 16 Mile.

#5: For my 36th birthday, she's taking me to Portland, Maine.

#6: For our wedding in the Bahamas, she asked the hotel what craft beers they might have available.

#7: She went through a steady list of website names until she handpicked Hops & Horns.

#8: She'll try every new beer with me, even if it's an insane 14% stout that we know she won't like. She wants to try it.

She thought it would be funny to put her Dark Penance (She LOVES Black IPAs) with my Two Hearted next to a Busch Light that was already on the table. She's the one in the background.

Can't think of too many, mainly that she puts up with it and is willing to try some even though she hates beer. She doesn't judge me (much) for spending $16 on a 6 pack once in a while. She went on a tour of Great Lakes with me when we had a staycation last year.

Also I do sort of like that she doesn't like beer because then she doesn't drink anything that I buy :-) It would be nice to share the love of it, but it's a little perk.
