I just wish I had picked up during a meeting on speakerphone assuming it was a sales call (I support sales at work) and had my Internet Beer Friend on the line asking me to make my pick for US Open.

 

That happened a couple weeks to my beer friend coming up to visit. He was in a meeting and we were constantly texting him during it. I guess they kept asking everyone what that sound was

 

Give @VaTechPhilly Jim Herman and we'll move on I only kid with Jim because I used to play with him in junior tourneys back in the day. That little bastard got good in college!

 

As for my bottle, i will be putting up a bottle of Deux Rouges batch 3 from Yazoo/Embrace the funk. I live in Nashville now and wanna spread the love on these beers most dont know about. I will add other beers as well to make sure its up to what everyone thinks is fair, but i promise you this beer is really good. It has some of the first batch of Deux blended in as well. I had some at the beer dinner last night and its tasting great !!

Its a great city, beer scene is a little young , but the beer community is great and we have some new good stuff coming out now. It gets better and better everyday.

 

Yeah, not that great for beer (at least when I was there last), but great restaurants, bars and the people are great too

have you heard of Patterson house? Great speak easy bar with an awesome cocktail menu.

 

I wouldn't dare give you any of my picks until its my turn. There's too much at stake in our rivalry for me to give you any "inside" information. I'll be around the rest of the day so I'll respond within an hour or less when my turn comes. I have a couple in mind but we'll see what the others pick.
