You can't do this as the system is currently setup, @jrnyc is hoping for an update in the future that allows this

 

It is not a feature now, but one that has been mentioned as a possible enhancement.

For now, sit tight. Trades where neither side gives feedback will be purged after 60 days.

That said, if you can do so, I'm sure the community would like to see those messages posted to confirm the repeated bad behavior of this trader. It may protect others in the future.

@rossracing if he agreed to the trade you can leave appropriate fb. People generally don't leave negative fb if no beer was shipped but a negative might be appropriate if he was lying to you. If not, then neutral fb with an explanation of how belatedly he canceled.

Per F2's request, please post the messages if you still have them, to give everyone a better idea of what happened. Delete all PI, names, addresses, phone #s, emails etc.

 

So, @aaaldredge .. Any updates? you were tagged thursday and have been on since then with no response...You bring up communication in this thread, yet ignore F2brewers tagging of you to answer a question....

 

Sometimes I feel like we should be tagging both traders involved in the thread with the *Bad Trader* tag for *communication* purposes

 

Traded with Chris last year. Everything was great then.

 

I love how bad trader threads pop up and all the sudden communication isn't an issue for @ChrisIWin. Personal issues or not, it should never take someone more than 3 weeks to ship a package and if it does and there is a legit excuse, a simply reply on BA or reply to a text on your phone that I'm sure you have on you 24 hours a day would have resolved this whole thing without your name being dragged through the mud. Coming in with an attitude as if you did nothing wrong is the absolute worst way you can handle this but seeing as how you conduct business in general, it's not surprising.

 

His box was delivered, I'm trying to reach out to him, still waiting on a response. Again I understand the means & rules for communication, this was my fault and it will never happen again.

 

@aaaldredge can you please confirm receipt of the box so we can close the loop on this thread?

 

You'd think the OP would be updating the thread since they opened it out of being concerned over this trade.

@aaaldredge, you win hypocrite of the month. You start this thread (which was warranted) but do not make any attempt to check on it and respond even though the Mods have tagged you. I know you'll use the excuse that you did not check since Sunday at 2:08am but that is a poor reason. You probably have checked this thread anonymously but choose not to respond or update further. People care and have posted on your behalf. As far as I'm concerned, I'd be more inclined to put you on my DNT list rather than your reformed trading partner. Get it together and improve your communication skills. You came out looking like an ungrateful ass.

C'mon guys, why all the hate for the OP. Family stuff came up, big family stuff. Plus every time he tried to log on the fedex store was closed, and then it was Sunday...............

 

I agree with the sentiment here that OP has a responsibility to communicate in a timely manner with the community that is trying to help him get his beer, but the vitriol aimed at him is a bit harsh.

 

Normally I'm on your side, but this time I can't be. OP has had loose communication at best within this whole ordeal. @ChrisIWin has been more responsive and if I'm being 100% honest is less likely to end up on my DNT list than the OP
