while not seafood, wanted to give a recommendation of Del Ponte's Coal Fired Pizza in Bradley Beach... about 10 mins from Kane. Went there on Saturday after getting SB bottles. BYOB and within walking distance to the beach. Got some SB bottles, ate some nice pizza then strolled the beach. Great day for anybody planning to hit up Kane in the coming months and is looking for a nice place to go after

hmm honestly I wouldn't say no chance... They released Morning Bell bottles and that has been on draft for samples for a long time now. However, this last batch of Sunday Brunch was the biggest batch of bottles ever, I think, so they might not have held any back.

It wasn't on draft for the release on Saturday, so I'm doubting that it might. I'll be there today anyway, so maybe you will summon the beer gods and it will be on tap.

This would be great. I missed out on bottles when I got there on Sunday. I've never had it, so I really don't know what I'm missing, but the chatter on here has made be very interested in a taste!

I always say I just like to chime in on BA to correct factual errors. First, 750ml bottles are 25.4 oz, and I think you're figuring 64oz in a gallon. There are 128oz in a gallon. This is how crazy rumors get started... "Kane still has 40 bbls of Sunday Brunch in reserve!" :slight_smile:Cheers!

Off the topic of whalez and brunch and whatnot- Does anyone know if Kane is still selling this specific teku (could have been a tulip with a wine stem, not a glassware expert?) glass at the brewery? It has a silver rim and silver Kane logo. Had it, loved it, wife broke it (accidental). Not seeing it on their website and want to replace.

HopLab: Eureka is the latest addition to our rotating hop-forward beer series. This is a 6.6% India Pale ale brewed with all Eureka hops in the kettle and Eureka, Mosaic and Simcoe in the dry hop. This beer has a deep orange hue from the medium crystal malts and a slight toasted malt flavor from the victory and pilsner malts. The result is a medium body IPA with dark fruit, pine and resinous flavors and aromas. Available in the tasting room beginning tonight; bars and restaurants next week.

You lost me at malty IPA but then you won me back with Mosaic and Simcoe.

I'm sure I'll still like it.

It is Hop forward and medium bodied that is far from malty.

I saw malt three times in the one sentence and immediately sent my brain into overdrive. Thanks for correcting me.

Oh Eureka is good. Definitely hop forward. Medium body is definitely correct. I like it a lot.
