I love their art. Though I am a huge Steadman fan, so it makes sense.

3 Floyds artwork is fine but they could use something better than those crap paper labels. They destroy instantly with any touch water. Not to mention rain (DLD) my french vanilla militia annihilated.

Boulevard's new labeling. I'm just not a fan....

I do like their Smokestack labels though. Especially the limited releases.

I constantly see people bashing the new Troeggs labels. I'm going to say right now that I think they are way better than the old ones. Here's my two cents on some of the things mentioned here:

Maine Beer Co: beautiful, simple labels. No complaints here
Stone: Terrible. Looks like something you'd buy in Hot Topic.
Flying Dog: I'm split. Steadman is a great artist but I'll admit those labels aren't personally appealing to me.
    Alpine: weird and frankly silly.
    Cascade: absolutely terrible
    Butternuts: awful
    Green Flash: boring
Modern Times: like Maine Beer, I appreciate the simplicity and information on their labels and packaging.

I could go on and on but I felt like those needed addressing most.

I can't be the only one that hates Evil Twin labels! I really don't love Maine Beer Co's labels. Stone is seriously dated. Butternuts looks like it should be sold as the "pack of trouble" at WalMart! I've passed on purchasing Against The Grain beer on the label art and names alone. Sad because I've heard tons of great reviews on them. Honestly, Smutty isn't the only one in NH that needs a revamp, and I love most of their stuff. There are worse offenders in the state. Woodstock has some awful work. 603 comes to mind right away. Kelsen looks like some Dungeons and Dragons shit. Heck, I'm not a fan of Deciduous' work. I think the best label in NH belongs to Garrison City. What do I know anyways? On a positive note, it's a good thing I don't judge a book by its cover so to speak (most of the time)!! Here's looking at you ATG!!

I've been drinking Green Flash recently because I read about it here. I had been ignoring it in the store partly because of it's cheap appearance.

Most of 3 floyd's labels are cool, but the Yum Yum is just ridiculous.

I wish Stone would go back to Thier old screen printed bottles. Just looked way cooler and always had that premium look to me. Now most bottles have the same print with different names and they don't even print the bottle necks anymore. More vibrant colors or not, they are obviously trying to save money

St Bernardus' labels look cheap and knock-off-y to me. For the longest time (before I got into Belgian beer) I didn't take them seriously because I thought they were some Trappist-esque imitation.

Short's Brew labels are plain ugly

Most Magic Hat ones are just all over the place. I do like #9 though.

Summit's labels are also kinda boring.

Got to agree, that was my first impression as well. Upside though is it was that label that got me interested in more closely examining Belgian brews generally.

Boulevard and New Belgium both need to go back to their roots and use their original labels. New Belgium in particular I though was unique.

I definitely agree with boulevard, I grew up on the unfiltered wheat and prefer the old label.

Dogfish could get more creative, they already are doing a good job with the seasonals, now they just need to come up with some better labels for the core beers.

NOT this beer company. I love their transparent attitude and get-to-the-point demeanor.
