So @jd_bamd2k Came on 4 hours ago and has ignored this thread.
My guess is he has no intention of sending you your beer.

There is no reason not to slap this guy with a bad trader tag.

It's great he has contacted you but the fact he has completely ignored this thread means A LOT

 

If you adjust the feedback for him, do the trading community a favor and leave feedback that reflects what happened here. Maybe include this link in feedback.

 

I think the BT tag should stay unless/until he comes in here to answer.

Yeah I went ahead and contacted the person involved and not all of you. Sorry i went straight to the person involved, figure it was best to respond to him first. I told him I was at fault and didn't mean to take this long. I have my reasons. I'm not gonna give any excuses on here . Don't think you wanna here any either. I take full responsibility and understand his reason for posting me up on here and I am trying to make it right send out his stuff yesterday with a extras for the trouble on my end. Honestly I'm not a thief or anything like that all the trades I've done on here have been good. I'm at fault for this one. I own up to the mistake and apologised to the party involved. I don't want to be hated in this community I love the beer community. Should have posted up on here earlier. Sorry guys. Just felt if I posted on here I was gonna get hate.

Most importantly, thank you for finally coming forward. As much "hate" as you're going to get it is only exacerbated when you don't say anything at all. Most of the communnity just wants to hear your side of the story.

Thank you also for owning the mistake. You're right we've all heard a plethora of excuses so just owning the fact that you made a mistake goes A LONG way.

The beer community never wants to hate anyone. We just have to self police since there isn't much other way to protect one another.

Glad you have gotten in contact with OP and are sending extras to compensate for tardiness.

Next time remember to just stay in better communication if issues arise and more often than not someone is not going to post a BT thread and if they do and you have been good communication a lot of the time the community will back you.

Happy this will end with OP getting beer.

 

Yeah Ill make sure in the future to stay in better communication with the intended party and keep them updated so that this doesn't happen again and I get what you mean on self police there is no way for anyone to be sure their gonna get their stuff if you guys don't cracked down on it and don't let it happen. It was never my intention to come up on someone's beer without sending them their's. Just shouldnt have made the trade if I was gonna be unavailable to send out or respond in a timely manner and for that I'm sorry.

Good of you to show up here with your side of story.

As others have stated, hate is far worse when people don't show up than when they do. Lesson learned.

 

Pretty much every BT thread always comes around to proper communication. I've missed ship days before, but I always let my trade partner know ASAP and get the box out the next chance I get(usually the next day). I've yet to have an issue, but I keep communication a #1 priority. I'd bet I've annoyed my trade partners at times with updates.
