Figured we could get a seperate thread running since this is now about to be open.

Looks like it will be open to the public on July 8th, and soft opening the weekdays before for society members.

"We have some exciting news and we want to celebrate with you first: we’re opening the Bruery Terreux Tasting Room next week! In advance of the grand opening (planned for Friday, July 8), we want to give our Reserve and Hoarders Society members a preview, beginning Monday, July 4.

There’s a special significance to this date (other than the tie-in to American independence, naturally). On July 4, 2012, The Bruery Tasting Room opened its doors to the public. Fast-forward to present day, and the Bruery Terreux Tasting Room is similarly awesome, but different. It isn’t just another location for us - it’s a deepening of our commitment and connectivity to the community, culture and education surrounding our wildly traditional biere.

In addition to some of the more familiar features you are accustomed to at The Bruery Tasting Room, such as flights, growler fills, bottles to-go and Society perks, the Bruery Terreux Tasting Room offers a more spacious palette and a new way to experience our beer - whether it’s in the rustic-modern indoor setting with a variety of seating options and sightlines, or on the patio with pull-up food truck convenience and outdoor beer service.

There are so many cool features, and we want our closest friends to experience it first. That’s why we’ve created several two-hour preview sessions for our closest friends - and that includes you!

    LOCATION

The Bruery Terreux Tasting Room is located at 1174 N. Grove St. in Anaheim. Parking is available in the adjacent lots and on the street.

In addition to the tap list we’re curating for the Bruery Terreux Tasting Room, we will also feature a number of special selections at The Bruery Tasting Room, beginning the week of July 4."

and honestly, isn't this going to get a bit confusing? Both locations are under the same membership and while whats on draft may slightly vary, it's pretty much going to be similar.

Assuming you are referring to the physical locations. I expect more of an 80/20 split (as a total guess) where Bruery Tasting Room with have 80% straight beer, and 20% Sour/Wild and vice versa for Terreux Tasting Room.

The building looks like a Ricotta cheese container.

Curious if that patio is going to be dog friendly.

It's a bad color scheme that's only going to get worse with sun damage.

I wish but sadly no. I asked on IG and was denied.

Always hopped it would as the only time I'm in the area is when I'm passing by on the way from visiting family in Corona on my way to SD, usually have the pup with me.

Is that final/close to done? For a company that has put so much effort into their aesthetics and branding over the years, that looks shockingly bad.

I think I saw your question on IG but couldn't figure out if their answer of "no dogs" applied to just the preview event or overall. Last year during the barrel warehouse tour/tasting, I asked Patrick about dogs being allowed on the Terreux patio and he said it was a possibility. Still unsure what the final outcome is here but I guess we'll find out soon enough.

I did ask if dogs were allowed during the preview, or at all. Maybe the "or at all" got lost in translation. We shall see, still hopping that the patio will be dog friendly.

I actually like the facade. It looks vaguely moderne. It doesn't seem quite consistent with their established branding, but it's a cool, clean look.

i'm hoping the inside looks better than the outside. like xul said, it's a little surprising, since it seems like they actually spent a lot of time working on it. to me the signage is the most underwhelming. would have thought they'd do something more substantial. even the wooden sign in the allocation pick up is better looking

looks like it will be really nice inside.

i kind of think the text on the outside might just be the beginning of a more elaborate piece. since they have the scissor lift out there and all.
