Agreed. I haven't had it from the bottle yet but I had two pours on draft today. It's my absolute favorite beer Cellarmaker has done.

It's good! I've only had Quadruple (insane!) and Plus (boring). It feels like Quadruple, but toned down to normal levels.

That's one of the best labels I've seen on a beer.

What does the word “Dank” mean when pertaining to beer?! Quite simply, dank means dank. We certainly don’t mean it in the way the dictionary defines it. We’re talking about cracking open a fresh bag of Columbus hops and the aggressive pine, resin, terpene heavy aromas that put the biggest grin on any hophead’s face.

“Are You Afraid of the Dank?” is our American Hopped Double IPA (ok, we snuck a little New Zealand grown Nelson in this batch because we couldn’t help ourselves). Hopped with excessive amounts of Mosaic, Simcoe, Amarillo, Centennial and CTZ hops this beer bursts with intense aromas of resinous pine, stonefruit and citrus. This was the first Double IPA we ever made and we’re always happy to bring it back.

Release Date: Tuesday, August 2nd at 2pm.
    Price: $10 (tax+crv included)
    Bottle Limit: 6

First DIPA they ever made? It's also the first Cellarmaker beer I've ever had (and got a growler of).

    I'm there!

Cellarmaker killing me with these Tuesday releases , I work Monday through Friday in San Jose so it's impossible for me. I wish they did Saturday releases like Monkish

And it is the opposite for me, I work Tuesday night through Saturday so it is perfect for me and I would be screwed by a Friday or Saturday release. Can't please everyone!

How do these releases typically go? I'm coming from out of town and happen to be arriving at SFO at about 12:15 on the 2nd. I was considering making the trip up to RR that day. Any chance there would still be some left when i get back into the city late afternoon/early evening?

It's pretty hard to say. Coffee & Cigarettes and Double Dobis sold out first day and by mid afternoon while Dank Williams, Southern Passion, and Mt. Nelson all lasted the entire first day.

If you could get there right after you get off your flight, your chances will be best (line might be shorter too).
