Bad (missing) trader @Dino_Sachs

@Dino_Sachs has needed to ship a box for over a year now. We had great trade experiences prior to the most recent. Initially he had valid excuses/reasons why his box was getting delayed, but it eventually became obvious that something was up. Each time I reached out he would eventually tell me that the box was ready and he would ship soon, only to go silent until I asked him again. The box I sent for this one was received on his end.

To answer some of the usual questions; No, we didn't use the feedback system since we had been trading with zero issues prior to the feedback system coming online. Yes, I have his contact info, but it hasn't helped.

I reached out to the Mod team prior to posting this, specifically because we didn't use the feedback system. @F2brewers tried reaching out to him as well, and since then, he hasn't logged on. Since it seems like he probably won't show back up, @F2brewers gave me the ok to post this.

I'm posting this because during our good trades, he switched usernames after getting banned for trolling, so it's possible he might try that again. I won't post his personal info, and if you check his profile you can see his location. If there is any concern because you are involved in a pending trade with him, BM and I can give you more info.

Or, if you know the guy and can talk to him, I'd love to know what's up with this trade.

If he shows back up, trade with extreme caution.

 

Because until recently, he was very proactive at communicating issues that were holding him up, some of which were major life events. I feel like in most bad trader threads, the key issue is good proactive communication and since he was providing that and because he had been a great trader up to that point, I really wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt.

It wasn't until recently that it was clear that he had no intention of shipping. Too many posts lately that seem to have jumped the gun, but maybe in retrospect, this is the opposite of that.

 

Originally it was a bottle of Brazzle and 6pk of Runoff Red IPA (small local 4 local trade). He messaged me to let me know he was out of Runoff and offered a 4pk of Tree Shaker which I agreed to from there.

If you have access to anything from Odell I'd be more than happy to send you some FL locals in exchange. I'm not too concerned about what wasn't sent, I just like to try different beers and share them with my friends.

 

I sent a 6pk of wake-n-bake and a 4pk of KBS, plus a few local cans that I thought he'd like.

He was to send the Runoff and Brazzle, or Tree Shaker and Brazzle.

 

The whole thing is odd, especially given that he always shipped out without issue up to this point.

 

I'm not holding out hope for him to do the right thing, but I'll keep this thread updated.

 

The replies in this thread are proof that this community is made up of great folks. I'm going to give the trader a small grace period, given his involvement in the craft beer community and industry, I'm hoping someone might still be able to point him to this thread. Otherwise, I'd be more than happy to take you or @hunninghake on your offer as long as I can send some thank you beers in return.
