Line is the longest I've seen at any Monkish release - from the brewery door, to the street, back around to the auto repair shop.

I laughed at first at that pic. Then I thought, how little you must have going on in life to get in line at 5am for beer.

Quick math shows around 120 people will get cans.

Bruh, check your quick math. At least 255 people will get cans. 225 get full alotments.

    75 cases x 6 4pks/case x 1/2pp....

Sorry im a high school tutor over summer lol

    that is truly sad

It blows me away that these releases get this kind of response and HPB cans are still relatively mellow. Since, like, their IPAs are better

If you're not in line you're too late. There's already more people than can allotments.

Also, there's a stupid amount of bottle sharing going on. Even saw a 3 liter getting passed around

ditto on this. Better ipa's. Mellow but it's getting more busier each release. Still much better than Monks releases. Looking forward to Hello LA.

For those of you that have lined up for prior releases - how crowded does the tasting room get at opening? Was thinking of swinging by to try the beers around 11AM en route to The Bruery

If they are opening at 10 by 11 it will be a shit show

If you went at 10 though you'll be good because everyone is in the other line

I'm kind of puzzled by the announcement to start sales earlier. All that does is shift the time the lines begin to form.

HPB cans have all sold out within a few hours even though sales start on an early Friday afternoon. I'm pretty sure if they were to take place on a Saturday, they'd get long lines, though possibly not as insane as a Monkish line.

If they were to sell them as soon as they're canned, the way HPB does, they'd be reducing UV light exposure as well as wait times in line.
