Bham BA meet up?

    Now that I'm not the only voice from The City of Subdued Excitement, maybe it's time for a few of us to get together for a brew. I've hung with @TheBungyo a few times since he's moved up, and there's few more of you around too: @AlohaStyle , @Moose90 , @Jaap , I might be missing a couple. You folks from either North or South of Whatcom County would certainly be welcome as well. Thoughts?

    It's only the real city motto, not The Official City Motto. Plus, The City That Doesn't Understand How Lines Work doesn't really have the same ring to it.

    Sure I'd be in as long as it's not a Saturday as I've got work almost every weekend. Usually not hard to convince a few BC folk to come along.

    The official motto, which I had to look up, ("A Refreshing Change" for those wondering) is pretty dopey. No wonder it's been supplanted.

    Because there is nothing about fluorescents that's "subdued", and B'ham has to maintain this understated posture, lest it become a proto-Seattle? Just speculating... :slight_smile:

    Well, I just kinda hoping for some sunset-ish colors, cuz, nobody ever drinks a beer at Boulevard Park during the free Saturday Night Summer concerts...... Well, at least not me :wink:.

    You should probably all just get together a E-Station Sour Fest!

    I can't make that one, but will stay tuned to see if I can make this. I'll be drinking at the all mighty Great Wolf Lodge mid week this week if anyone per chance is staying there and wants a real beer.

    That being said, the offer on the Northern side of Bham also stands!
