Haven't tried that beer yet, but had a bottle of Ruby over the weekend and really dug it. The grapefruit is awesome in that beer.

I had a week or two old bottle the other day and it smelled like rubbing alcohol, flavor was off, burned rubbery with the hops wanting to come through, but not really there. Tasted completely different than the bottle I had at the tasting room. It doesn't seem to hold up, the brett took over or something.

Ruby on the other hand is absolutely delicious...

I had a bottle (2 days after release), and it was very good. I did not experience any of those off-flavors, and neither did anyone else I shared the bottle with. Odd..

I have another bottle that is probably 3 weeks old so I'll try it in the next few days.

This was last week. It was great the day they released it (only other time I had it). I kept it in the fridge the entire time (after the drive back to LA).

Let me know how it goes this time around, @dcbullet . I know they were talking about making more of it.

Stopped by Toolbox on Sat, and was just in love with their Cucumber Berliner Weisser! Wish they had bottles of it to go, but instead bought a couple of their Ruby which was outstanding as well.

I drank my other 3ish week old bottle of West Coast Funk. Tasted fine.

That Ruby is damn good. The Mosaic compliments the fruit really well. Super crushable stuff.

I was able to try West Coast Funk on tap at the brewery. Thought it was a good brett double IPA, but maybe I'm just a sucker for Galaxy hops.

Eau D'Vine was released a couple of months ago, and it was great fresh.. It was even better with a couple of months on it. Not sure if there are any bottles left, but I'm definitely going to go check.

Lot of barrel aged beers on tap currently. Saison Chene Rustique (bottle released today) foeder aged saison, Saison Rustique D'Abricot (apricot fruited version of the former), Saison Heritage dry hopped barrel aged spelt saison w/ French Bouclier hops, Briar barrel aged saison w/ blackberries. I tried all of them except the base Rustique, they were all pretty darn good. Also said they might tap a saison aged w/ cherries this Friday. Cheers.

Saison Heritage was probably my favorite on my visit Saturday, all very good.

Only issue is the beers marked red they only do full pours of, which is rough if you're passing through.

Yeah, they used to do half pours of the barrel aged beers, but they did away with that many months ago. A little update for those not having a social media presence. Autumn Bliss batch no.2 is on tap (no bottles this time). They also have House Blend barrel aged sour ale w/ blueberries and House Blend barrel aged sour ale w/ plums. I tried the plum and it was fantastic, but it was definitely one of their more tart ones they have made.

Autumn Bliss was so damn good when I had it on draft. Shame there are no bottles this time around.

I believe there will be. A lot of the barrel aged stuff is preview to future bottle releases. So fingers crossed, because this second batch of Autumn Bliss is fantastic, raspberries for days.

Autumn Bliss B2 will not be bottled. We will redo it in the future and bottle it again.

Yeah we enjoyed the Saison Heritage quite a bit. Don't quite understand why they only do 10oz pours of their BA beers. We would have tasted a few others if smaller pours were offered.

You can get a splash of whatever you want. We use specific glassware for the BA beers and having multiple sizes is logistically very difficult (glass racks, etc).

We feel as though offering a splash to help you decide what you would like, and serving the beer in the proper glassware, provides the best overall experience.

I was glad Bog Sauce made its way to NorCal. Delicious stuff.
