    Well, I guess I'm just not going to get used to the format change. The pictures are so large that I can only see half a picture now. Also, only having the mobile option on a phone is terrible. Much more work to get to the places I want to go and do what I want to do. I'm continually amazed by the human capacity to screw things up by making them "better".

    I've been lazy this morning. No run, no walk, just beer. Ozark Beer Co. Claire.

    Green Flash Pacific Gem Single hop

    Appearance: Nice gold with good color intensity, white cap with good lace.

    Aroma: Hops first, piney, citrusy, grapefruit hops, with some underlying sweet malt. Earthy spice as well.

    Taste: Hops on entry and all the way through. Some caramely malt emerges mid palate but hops dominate. At 40 IBU this isn't especially strong in the hops department, comparatively speaking, but hops are what this brew is about. Lingering bitter aftertaste that isn't at all unpleasant but is present.

    Texture: At least medium and then some.

    Overall: I like the single hop premise even if it's not a favorite hop because it is something different and sort of an introduction to a specific hop character. This simple brew works pretty well and manages a flavorful balance for what is admittedly a hop showcase brew.

    W all the craziness in NE the past ten days w Trill going all cans and the Alchemist opening their new brewery in Stowe -- I thought I'd see how other parts of the country are doing at making juicy IPAs....very well by the taste of this one...btw - love the new interface -- works awesome on my iPhone 6plus.
