So, as the slack group knows, my wife and I are expecting our first child - the due date is August 5th. In celebration, I have decided to do a LIF. This is our first child and we are really excited. However we know our lives are about to change - maybe drastically, maybe mildly. I am guessing the former, but who really knows? So I thought it would be fun to send out a box of a few mini verticals. Most will be 15 vs 16 samples but maybe a 3 year sneaks in; don't really know yet. My thoughts are old life vs new life! How do things change over a year? Rules are simple. Open to all participants of any of the newbie BIFs I played in (the last three, which I think were 2,3,and 4). Person who picks the date our daughter is born will win. If nobody gets spot on, closest in either direction. Tie breaker is closest to weight, either direction. Final tie breaker is first person to submit their answer and meet the two previous criteria.

I got the brother to that box! So I was the lucky winner of the CIF finally! I think I have tried for about half of the rounds. And @CBrodbeck killed it! I just got a FB glass from a local and didn't have a beer to christen it. well that is no longer the case. First are the cushions. There's still one more that is empty, then we can fill the back! Now to the beer. What a beautiful looking bunch of beers. Almost all new ticks. Thanks so much Charles. very generous. Will be opening sing up soon to get this back out into the wild.
