    If you think your photos are huge like I do and you use imgur thenn look at the bottom of the window where you will see choices like original size and this one , medium thumbnail. Mucho better yes?

    Mid morning pick me up along the Pilsner line . . .

    Goose Island Four Star Pils

    Appearance: Light gold with white cap and good lacing.

    Aroma: Rather full on hops with malt underlying. Spicy, slightly earthy in a rich way, good hop balance.

    Taste: It's in there alright, bursting forth with malt carrying the hops along. It leans, no, marches toward IPA territory leaving the Pils location behind while not altogether leaving a Pils character. If a Pils took up bodybuilding this might be the result.

    Texture: Full medium.

    Overall: If I'm in the mood for a traditional European Pilsner this isn't one I would reach for. If I wanted something beefier along that line this one will do.
