If you go to the Alchemist website, they have a little graphic up showing the current status of beer availability. It's been pretty consistent that Crusher sells out first, say around 1PM, then HT, then FB lasts for a while longer. Int's almost 3PM now and they indicate FB still available. However, considering this is Vermont Brewers Festival weekend, you will probably need to get there as early as possible because that place is going to be mobbed.

I went today. Easy peasy. Got there about 10:20. Left at 11:20. Gatekeeper lady said today was the quietest day yet, but was still a decent line.

Why buy just Focal? Get the whole lot! It is (2) 4-packs per beer per person. Lots of effort for just 8 cans.

I'm actually in town to be at my in-laws lakehouse they rented with my Wife and child. I have had plenty of HT, and if can go a little later and wait a little less, I'm in it for just the FB as that's one of my personal favorites.
SIDE NOTE: I think I've already talked my Wife into letting me go to the Fiddlehead release, so can only push my luck so far!

Someone mentioned previously that there are a couple good restaurants right near the brewery, I think one was a bbq restaurant. Can anyone refresh my memory on this?

You can see and smell the BBQ joint from the Alchemist parking lot. Dunno the name and haven't had it. But it is right there.

The Bench is pretty close to the brewery and has good food and beers on tap.

What stores does The Alchemist distribute Heady to on Fridays? Can anyone suggest one that may have some left around 5 or so? I would love to stop by the brewery but it's going to be out of our way and there's no chance we'll be getting there before they run out of beer.

Check out the link to their website. It lists the Friday delivery spots. Although I think it is just restaurants on Fridays now. Not retail stores.

Actually, very specific and reasonable question. He is not just asking which stores get it (which I agree is easy to find out) but which might have it after 5pm. Especially reasonable now that Alchemist has cut back on amount that is shipped to stores.

How crazy do you guys think Friday will be at the brewery with the Vermont Brewers festival starting up that day? Wondering if it's worth it stopping by at around 12ish..

Highly doubtful you will be able to find any heady still around on Friday around 5. It's been selling out in the Burlington area right away the past few weeks. Smaller deliveries + it's brewfest weekend

For great food near the Alchemist, check out Doc Ponds. We loved it when we were in VT over memorial day weekend.

I was up last weekend and enjoyed the whole experience. Also psyched to have gotten the sterk wit. Is that beer still available through this week? are we allowed to begin speculating what the next "extra" beer will be / when it may be available? I'll start! wasn't there a batch of petite mutant brewed in the spring?

(All in all very excited for this opening, greatly enjoyed my visit, and will enjoy my future visits regardless of the day's offering)

I'll be up in Stowe this weekend into early next week and have been keeping an eye on their website today. Looks like around 12:30-45 Crusher sold out today.

Got there just after 11, out the door in just over 60 minutes with full cases. Disappointed that they didnt have that awesome glasswear available, but I guess I'll just have to go back.

Everyone working was fantastic and friendly, and it was run flawlessly. Cheers!

Stopped in yesterday, Wednesday, as I was passing through around 3:00. They had Focal at 2 4packs pp, and said everything else sold out around 1:00. Cant complain with $24 worth of Focal though!

Got to the parking lot at 10:03.
About 50-60 people in front of us. They opened early at 10:35. We were loading up the trunk with our mixed case by 11:00. The
The crew there did a fantastic job, very impressive.
