Nice picture, though. Jealous of @twizzard's pool right now too.

Anyone find any of their beers farther lut on the island? I know alot of the distributors farther east with growler stations don't regularly update beermenus. Is Bellport the only spot?

As far as I've seen, Bellport and Hoptron are the only spots that have had Sand City beers on tap.

Oh...and St. James Beverage, if you're on the north shore.

Tap & Barrel in Smithtown regularly has Sand City on draft and believe they'll do growler fills on most offerings, but can't imagine the price would be very consumer-friendly.

Been there a few times and completely agree about the smoked porter and the breakfast stout being top notch. I enjoy the belgian offerings but feel maybe they could benefit from a touch more yeast character. And MOFOSAIC is definitely the best Tri-State area IPA i've had.

Once they start canning, If any long island BAs want to swap some Sand City cans for some Carton/Kane/Magnify, don't hesitate to hit me up with a beer mail.

Don't pay Sand City any mind, keep moving, nothing to see here.

I don't want it to turn into a shit show now that they have a canning machine. I currently have a keg of Second Wave in my kegerator; it's amazing that I can drive an hour, easily walk into the tasting room, have a beer, fork over a VERY fair amount of money and walk out with an amazing DIPA keg that competes with some of the big name New England beers.

Barrier is in my backyard, Evan is a great guy, but honestly they have missed the mark lately for me.

For Nassau folks, Monarch has had many kegs. Also found their stuff on tap at Eat Gastropub.

Oops I hopped my pants is probably my favorite IPA being produced in the state right now. Mofosaic is a very close second.

Was not crazy about the Stormborn belgian I tried but thought the breakfast stout was definitely solid. Could drink that all winter long.

I must say though that I was quite underwhelmed by Day Drifter.

Hopefully the vultures don't invade. Quaint little town, can't imagine locals and businesses would have any tolerance for the line shares and long lines clogging up main street. I hope it doesn't come to that.

I can see there being a line (though nothing like the crowd Other Half draws), but there's no way in hell the town of Northport would tolerate bottle shares on the line. Way too ritzy of a town to have people drinking on the streets. Not to mention Suffolk County cops would have a field day with that. Lord knows they have nothing better to do.

A large portion of my family lives in Northport and they were nice enough to bring me a few growlers in May when they visited. As many have said, Sand City might be the best Tri-State area brewery nobody knows about. Had Day Drifter and Mofosaic and both were legit. Mofosaic more so, but I found Day Drifter to be a super nice and easy pale.

While I haven't been to the brewery yet, planning to do so when I visit my fam. Hope for all you Long Islanders this doesn't turn into a shit show.

Went to the brewery today during my lunch break to get a few growlers for a BBQ tonight since I happened to be working in Northport today.

First Blush is a very nice sour that, while it doesn't blow you away, shows there is potential for them to create a high class sour.

Close Talker could be my favorite IPA in NY right now. Unbelievably grassy and citrusy. This beer is fucking legit.
