@JoeyIce3 ...a couple tidbits (appreciable for beergeeks) ... the DC Brau Space Reaper is an IPA that was formerly named 'Solar Abyss' last year -- they had the change the name cuz Deschutes approached them ... same recipe/dankness tho. ...and The Wise & The Lovely is a barrel-aged collab brew that DC Brau did with Cigar City for an anniversary mixsixpack (collabs w/ other breweries such as sun king, austin beerworks, perennial, cigar city); this one was the winner of the collab6pack. ...and 'the taylor swift challenge beer' is/was one of your wants -- in case you wanted to save it for a blind-tasting-special-occasion. enjoy the wknd, my friend.
thanks for the info.... yeah that wise & the lovely sounds right up my alley.. .hhmmmm is/was?? The TH one was the only IPA though right? Didn't put the other challenge beers in fridge yet.... Also have a King Sue @sembo sent me that I have to get too... You have a good wknd yourself buddy...
Hell of a box. My best frind lives in Arlington as well and he sent me plenty of the beers from that mix six pack. Fucking killer. The Perennial collaboration was my favorite (Rosehip Saison). And Solar Abyss/ Space Reaper is so fucking good. 100% Mosaic right? Super dank, green onion, cut grass with just a bit of citrus on the finish.
#VBS - Secret Bottle #1. I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess Yellow Rose. The drink fresh clues it in as a IPA and not many come in big bottles like that.
You said proo... great job Kevin, can't wait to get my hands on these.... I said Got Damn! Killer box... killer boxes all around thus far, wow..
Super excited!!! Package delivered to me today! I think I may have @jschott75 to thank. I'm in Florida for work, but my husband will pick up the box and send me some pics to share!
Went lite on hops knowing you would be out of town, but had a few things fresh that I had to include.
Yellow Rose is awesome, last time I had a bottle was in a park having a couple Bombers with my uncle. Had it before along with attic panzer wolf, a NG fruited beer and one other. Yellow rose is always a great beer! I'm anxious to see what the small one is. It looks dark as hell.
