    The original brewpub on Morgan. Sorry I've just heard a few people refer to it as that and have started saying it.

    There is a newer, larger brewery on Maywood. Been there for a little bit now.

    Also, not sure if it has been mentioned here or not yet, but Lynnwood is releasing Hubris on Sunday, August 7th (National IPA Day). Bottles and draft at the brewery.

    Wooden Robot in Wilmington eh? Nice. The only keg from them I've seen in the Triangle was a saison, would love to see some more.

    I tried Texas Rig! from Southern Pines tonight for the first time. It's no Hubris or Freak, but it holds its on in DIPA scene. I'm really digging what SP is doing these days.

    I like Southern Pines in general, but did not like Texas Rig at all.

    The newly canned Heist Citraquent'l is so good it needs its own Thread! It is now the King of NC! And, it holds its own with any NE style IPA! Straight hazy Mango Hop Juice!

    Having my first can right now. I had a crowler a few months ago but I had forgotten just how good this is. Definitely one of the best IPAs in the country.

    I have to say I was quite disappointed with all the wooden robot I had at the brewery, including their IPA's. They all seemed without body and lacking any flavor. But that peach apricot sour a few weeks ago was AMAZING.

    Heist Brewery - Citraquench'l

    This NE Style IPA may be taking the crown. Currently 95 on BA. Cans sold out in a matter of hours. 90+/- cases.

    95! It's movin on up! It was a 94 last I checked. I had a Citraquench'l, a couple Trillium and a couple Monkish at a share this weekend and the Citraquench'l was the majority pick of best can of the night.

    Yes, the cans were only available at the brewery. It can occasionally be found on tap around town.
