Grabbed a couple beers off the singles shelf from Fort Collins Brewing. Doing know anything about the brewery, but I liked the cans. This wheat beer pairs well with steamed mussels and lemon meringue pie, or so I'm told...

Edit: Can't believe I forgot the music!

Hot and humid outside today, but it's nice and cool in the basement and no work tomorrow, so I think a couple big beers are in order. Starting with Southern Tier 2xstout, and following it with Founders redankulous. I like the 2xstout well enough, but have really enjoyed the redankulous! Cheers BA and have a great rest of your Monday!!

Bought this tonight... $3.75 and I didn't think they were even selling this in my area, much less in the store. Delicious and so tart.

Always awesome session IPA, and really fresh. Bright/juicy hops of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon/orange peel, and pine; with light honey/bready malts and floral/grassy hop earthiness. Nice medium bitter finish; with a smooth, crisp, and moderately sticky mouthfeel with light grainy malt creaminess. Very robust and flavorful hop profile with balanced pale maltiness for the ABV. I need to keep this in the fridge more often than I have been. Definitely one of my top favorites for the style, yet it was also one of the first on the market.

Very nice fruited IPA. Flavors of big mango, passion fruit, papaya, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon/orange peel, and pine; with cracker/bread/light honeyed malt; and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus rind bitterness and light fruit tartness; medium bodied sticky/resin mouthfeel with light grainy creaminess. Light-moderate increasing dryness; with no lingering hop or fruit astringency. Pretty refreshing; nice well rounded hop complexity in balance with the fruits. Fairly dank overall on the tropical/piney hop character.

My go-to amber ale. Nice juicy citrus/herbal/spicy hops and balanced caramel/toasted biscuit/nutty malt flavors. Balanced herbal/spicy bitterness. Moderate creamy/bready mouthfeel with light hop stickiness and dryness. Just an all around delicious and spot on to classic style amber ale. Love this stuff. So simple, yet still really impressive.

Delicious batch this year, a bit better than my original review. Flavors of juicy pineapples; with grapefruit, tangerine, lemon/orange peel, and pine hops; with light caramel/toasted bready malt balance. Moderate pine bitterness and slight fruit tartness. Sticky/resin hop mouthfeel, with a fair amount of creamy malt balance. Moderate dryness, minimal astringency. My original review 2 years ago had said problems with the fruit astringency, but now it doesn't have any like it was before. Would gladly buy these as singles again. A lot of Odd Sides recent IPA batches, and even the wheat beers are quite improved over their initial batch releases a few years ago. I've been buying plenty.
