Hey again, BA's! Now around 12:30 here in hot NOVA & I was supposed to be drinking this right now:
Sadly this puppy was completely oxidized & I had to put it to sleep :slight_frown::angry:

So, not to be deterred, I've moved on to this:
Breaking in some more new glass, too.
This brew is tasting great...tastes like redemption...

As always- Drink up & drink on, my fellow advocates!

This might be the best beach beer ever made. I can float on the raft with one and I won't even notice if I get any salt water in it.

This can is not really designed for taking a picture of, but this is Alpha Blonde from the Morgantown Brewing Company in Morgantown WV. Decided to go with a local WV beer on this sizzling afternoon.

It's already hot as hell so why not? The morning run was a beast today with a 79 dew point at 8am, so I slowed down and cut it short. I have a 5k on Saturday which should be fun.:astonished: Keep cool to those affected, it's time to water my plants.

That's extremely difficult to choose, but 3 of the several memorable "blown away" moments were by KBBS (had it twice), Zhukov's Final Push (had a large pour from a crowler, not at Huna Day), Triple Sunshine (had it 3 times, including from the first bottling).

I really wanted to try that, but I can't justify paying $20.99 for a 4 pack at my store when they have Hi-Res for like $9.99 a 4

Had a doctors appointment this morning & had to get blood taken, so I haven't been able to eat until now. Joining @MUTINY with this on accompanied with some grocery store sushi.

A rainy day in Traverse City calls for a visit to the Dennos Museum.

And a stop at the Filling Station Microbrewery. Excellent pizzas and salads house in a decommissioned train depot.

    And of course, the beer.

A good looking beer, and a brewery? There was no brewery in Morgantown while I was there, 1977-1987. Cheers, and go00 Mounties!

A buck cheaper in some stores around here and a few sell it as singles to get people on the fence to bite. I too like Hi Res, but find this is a different animal. I usually cellar one or two as I find them quite good as well with a couple of years on them. Cheers!

It's late(-ish) here, but still early stateside. After a lovely tour of Glengoyne (and samples of 12- and 18- year old Scotch, and a sample of the phenomenal "Teapot Dram"), I am a couple hundred pounds poorer, but quite fulfilled. Wonderful scenery, and delicious, pure single malt Scotch.

Now relaxing with something a wee bit lighter: Jolly Pumpkin's Oro de Calabaza.

    Cheers!

Damn. That looks fantastic. I also came across some cans of Sue today, but they had a March date on the bottom.
