    Andechs - Doppelbock and Helles. These are the best beers I've had in Germany. On a previous visit, I went to the monastery pub and restaurant, just outside of Munich, and was wowed by the MALT flavor. Amazing beers.

    Im not one to believe in hype, i actually dont care. But until recently ive not even seen this in person for the 4 years ive been of drinking age. And i picked up a single for $2. And i should have bought all of them

    The first 5 I've given a beer on this site. This beer is unbelievable. And at 10% it feels like nothing.

    On the shelf at our local AH supermarket. For Dutch standards they offer a wide spectrum of beers. I think that has something to do with the expat population around here in the The Hague area.

    Monday afternoon drinking. One of life's rare pleasures. Starting off with this beauty I hauled back from Brooklyn.

    Did the whirlwind tour of Brooklyn on Saturday. Started at Torst with a sour pairing of Sloop Confliction and Almanac Cherry-Vanilla Dogpatch.

    Then down the street to Spuyten Duyvil, for a nice fresh Grimm can. Catch Wave!

    Then on to Three's Brewing for a super-fresh There You Are. Best beer of the trip, right here.

    Finished up at Beer Culture in Manhattan, since it was nearish to the Bolt Bus pickup spot. They had Westbrook Mexican Cake on draft! Score.
