The Airways bistro in downtown Kent is a nice spot. Always enjoy their beer.

Very nice. Had lunch there today and then stopped in at the new facility of 212th before heading home.

Sounds like another couple weeks before they're brewing again. Mostly guest beers at the bistro right and no growler fills for a while.

I found it strange that when you'd order a beer at Hilliard's, they would serve you a can.

Yes, unless you ordered one of their tap beers, served in a glass that looks like a can. I will miss this place.

Southcenter is in Tukwila (technically speaking, that is)

I'm aware of that. My question was about Airways. Both of their locations are in Kent.

Oops, my bad. Guess it must be time to grab a beer. Maybe that will help my reading comprehension.

Drive by Hilliards this afternoon, they appear to have closed for good on July 16th.

Dropped by this past weekend and they weren't open but I thought maybe I just showed up too early. Not even a post on FB or Instagram with their closing date. Seems they were just ready to go and weren't too worried about communicating with customers/fans.

They just had a closed sign on the door, I had to check Untappd and see the last checkins being on the 16th and people saying it was the final day.

I heard they were staying open until they ran out of beer.

They had a few beers on at Odin when I was there last week...

Noticed the other day that the TW in Spokane Valley had several endcap displays of Hilliard's stuff set up. Guess they really want to get it out the door!

It will be interesting to see what Hilliard beers will live on. Kind of surprised why Odin wanted their brands. The Saison is probably the only one they're well known for. Maybe the 12th can, but that beer was never very good.

The best way to appreciate the Seahawks bandwagon beer from Dick's was to drink the one from Hilliard's first.
