I had this on Saturday at Ambulance up in Rockland. Absolutely loved it. My first Sloop beer and there will be more.

All of their sours are tasty and super drinkable. The peach cans will be my official lawn mowing beer this summer. If you have the chance to check out their tasting room its well worth the trip. Really nice spot and the owners are very cool guys. Certainly lucky to have them so close.

I had a similar experience with both cans. Tart and tasty up front but the back end was a buttery, stale funk wave that could not be ignored. I did manage to drink them (hate letting beers hit the drain, esp. a low ABV 12ozer) but yeah, something was definitely off.

I visited Sloop this weekend as a result of some of the responses to the "top 5 brews from NY" thread. Didn't see any cans and Juice Bomb will not be available till 3/31 at the brewery (so we missed out on that) but I was really impressed with Sloop's offerings. The Red C was the best red ipa I have ever had! Additionally I just generally enjoyed the space, crowd, vibe and brews. Reminded me of some of the small farm winery's around the keuka lake area. I see sloop as one of the major cornerstones of a Hudson Valley beer scene that is shaping up to be very strong in the upcoming years.

Westside market on 3rd ave. had cans of black razz and saucer peach. Had cans of the black razz and it was really good and strangely had changed a lot over the last couple of days I had it which I don't mind it was a good beer.

Want to go visit them in the summer time.

Has anyone try juice bomb? That beer is probably one of the best single IPA's in NYS

Picked up some Sauer Peach cans in Hyde Park recently but saw it all over the lower Hudson Valley, both sides of the river. Pretty nice, not sure if I enjoyed it as much as the old bottles from the past few years. Definitely has a pronounced cereal graininess that was sort of vying for my attention with the fruit and tart notes. Moderately funky like a Berliner should be. Good beer though, and glad to see it in cans.

Really enjoyed the two growlers of Juice Bomb I've had in the past month (kicked the keg at Party Beverages in Newburgh recently).

Got to drink a few pints of Juice Bomb @ Beer Belly Deli in Syracuse last night before their keg kicked. What an absolute treat! I am hard pressed to name a NY IPA (not brewed in in NYC) better than Juice Bomb. This beer definitely lives up to its name and to the (somewhat minimal) hype that I have seen on BA.

I was at the brewery this weekend and they had Galaxy Bomb, Citra Bomb, Mosaic Bomb, Juice Bomb, and Hops in the Valley on. I liked Galaxy Bomb the best, got a growler.

Out of Juice bomb, Mosaic bomb and hops in the valley I definitely prefer og Juice bomb the most - kind of shocking as I am an absolute lush for mosaic hops. Really looking forward to trying citra bomb tho.

Mosaic Bomb is SO good. So are Citra, Galaxy and OG. Hops in the Valley was great. Just awesome IPAs and sours coming from these guys right now. Definitely need some more peach sauer in cans, though, that's an ideal summer beer.

Any idea if they plan on distributing more in the near future? I finished my case a month ago and have been tweaking.

I hope they plan on canning Juice Bomb at some point. And while they are at it, I'll take some Confliction as well. What a great brewery.

Also I'm kind of surprised the name Juice Bomb wasn't already taken. Ya know, with all the reviewers calling every NE hazy beer these days a juice bomb

I've only got to try the Citra but I'll definitely be on the lookout for the other variants around the city
