Zwanze in Florida

    Hearing reports that Zwanze won't be taking place at RLRL this year. Instead there will be a Zwanze in Tampa and one at Playa Linda Brewing. Personally I think this sucks as I live close to RLRL in Orlando and it was always a good time getting together with the people that would drive into town. Anyone have solid info on this?

    Zwanze will be in Tampa Bay this year.

    Got word the locations will be Green Bench and Playa Linda Brewing. Wonder how much Green Bench is going to charge? $60-$100 most likely. Going to miss the $5 RLRL cover. At least this makes it an easy choice between the two coming from Orlando.

    Sad feels if RLRL won't be having this again this year. Is this indeed the case for certain?

    Zwanze Day was the only good thing Orlando had going and Tampa had to take that too. Don't you guys have enough beer there to hold you over? This just seems greedy :sunglasses:.

    Wow, that stinks. I was definitely planning on RLRL. if it is at Playalinda, at least that is closer to Jax though. any word on when the locations will officially be announced?

    October 1st, it's the same day for all locations that have a Zwanze day.

    It is October 1st this year. I have heard from people that work at RLRL it will definitely not be there. No official word on the alternate locations though. I hear he wants this event to take place specifically at breweries though.

    Much thanks. Never been to a Zwanze event but my sister lives in the shit hole town of Titusville and that's where Playalinda is located. Likely, fly down from Durham for the weekend.
    When do tickets usually go on sale?

    I'm sure once there is an official announcement made about the locations, there will be more information regarding tickets. Since the past year's had been at RLRL in Orlando, the timing for their ticket sales in the past is irrelevant.

    Confirmed by Cantillon. Playalinda in Titusville, and Green Bench in St. Pete. I guess I am going to shoot for Titusville due to proximity, and possible cost differential.

    Yeah, hopefully they allow for bottle shares at Playalinda. We are organizing a bus from Orlando if anyone is interested. PM me for details.

    I am trying to do a bus from Jax too, what are your anticipations on event timing? I am working with the bus operator up here to possibly get it done. I know Playalinda has not released any details yet.
