I know, I know... it is too early to be thinking about this. But after work sent out a feeler e-mail on who would be signing up for Fantasy Football this year I started getting into the Fall mood. That and I want to try and forget about this crazy heat wave we are having and remember the upcoming crisp Fall days.

Any info on this years Fall Variety Pack? I know last year they were starting to be distributed the last week of July/first week of August in some areas so I'm curious I haven't seen much info out there on this yet.

    Cheers!

I'm with you and while on paper it may seem difficult to think about Fall beers in 100+F heat, I am not bothered by that at all and will take an Oktoberfest anytime, one of my favorite styles for sure...Fall beers are some of my favorites. I am a big fan of SA Octoberfest and I too am curious about the lineup this year.

Bumping this thread as well. They've been weirdly quiet about the fall pack (though with seasonal creep that's not necessarily a bad thing). Hopefully we hear the lineup soon!

The Summer pack looked disappointing so I didn't pick it up.

The summer pack was overall disapointed. I hope they brew a rauchbier again down the road for their fall pack

Agreed. The summer pack didn't really do it for me this year, though I am happy they have returned to the six styles per variety pack.

I did not buy any summer packs. The only Sammies I bought in the past 3 months have been a few 12's of the Pack of Rebels can variety pack. Let's see what they do for fall this year.

I feel like we usually know what's going to be in it by now. Kind of odd. I bet we will see it within the next week or so. My store has already filled the sampler spot with Summer ale, so I'm guessing they are out of the Summer mix pack.

Picked the Fall pack up yesterday at a local Meijer in West Michigan. It included the following:

    Boston Lager
    Octoberfest
    Hoppy Red
    Maple Ale
    Bonfire Blonde
    Toasted Caramel Bock

Am looking forward to trying the new ones sometime in the upcoming week

    So solid.

They all sound great i just hope the bock and maple arent too sweet.

I wonder what are the details on the blonde....is it smoked?

Per the description on the box:

    5.5% abv
lightly sweet and doughy with a hint of smoke and a tart, dry finish

    Should be interesting

That looks fantastic! My local store has SA 12-packs as a perpetual sale item at $14.99 and I will pick this up the first time I see it.

Awesome, thanks for the info! Can't wait to pick this up. Very solid sounding Fall Variety Pack. Really happy they went back to the 6 different style format!

After not picking up a pack of the summer one this year, I'm definitely interested in the fall pack. Does anyone have first impressions of the three new beers?

I could do without the Hoppy Red, I'm sure I'll grab a pack of this at some point
