I know everyone hates that GI was bought by AB-InBev, but if that means being about to go to places that would normally only have Bud Light, and now have Goose's IPA and Green Line, I think that's a win for craft beer fans.

I would estimate (very loosely) that 95% of the folks going to this festival either (a) are too young to drink, or (b) aren't on sites like this one so there's probably little demand for it there.

Just think, with AB and SAB combining you'll have twice the horrible options (Bud Light, Miller Lite) and twice the "craft" options...think the 10 varieties of Summer Shandy and 10 Shock Tops!! YES!

I Would love to go to an event with a bunch of Shock Tops on tap and with my luck, I would stumble into that talking orange with a Mohawk and sunglasses that secretly tapes encounters with unassuming patrons (who are not paid actors) and I would kindly ask him to open his mouth so I can pour some ShockTop down its throat but instead, I will proceed to piss in its mouth and ask it how it likes the taste of its beer. That's a big break I cannot pass up!

Of the (few) music festivals that I've been to Outside Lands in SF has some of the best beer choices, but then again its not sponsored by Bud Light.

This year's Outside Lands beer lineup is pretty sweet:
