Hello! I'm actually the one that brought it up and would buy it off of you.

 

Lagunitas High-Westified Inperial Coffee Stout (aged in rye and bourbon barrels) is on tap at High Park tap room in Mission Viejo.

I hadn't heard of this one before but it was very tasty. Any idea if bottles of this get released down here?

 

it's been bottled before so I would assume we would start to see those.

 

We will open this Friday at 5:30 and go till 11 or 12pm. As far as our normal hours, it will probably go something like this (believe it or not, we still haven't figured everything out):

Mon - Closed
Tues , Wed, Thurs: 4-10pm
Fri: 2-11pm
Sat: 12-11pm
Sun: 12-6pm

Like I said, these hours may change a tiny bit. The opening on Friday should be fun but anticipating it will be crowded as hell. There is free BBQ "until supplies last" and there will be a band playing in the courtyard. As far as what we will have on tap, still not even sure! We have all of our core beers and we are praying a couple other new brews will be ready. We are waiting for our new pale (Gnomis) to clear in the brite tank so fingers crossed itll be ready for Friday.

Propeller Head - Amber w/ Coffee
Troglodyte - Grisette

As far as there being more to us than IPAs...we are definitely planning on doing BA beers and sours once we catch our stride. That being said, expect a lot of hoppy beers out of us. Hope to see you guys out there this weekend...my name is Andrew - come say what up!

 

I've had your Naturia and really enjoyed it. Went back to BTs BBQ for more when I saw it on tap there again. Would love to make it out to your grand opening this Friday but don't think I will make it. It'll be to crowded for me. Plus Friday traffic back to HB. Etc. etc.
But hoe to make it out Sat after work.

Thanks for the info and looking forward to your joint - always good to have another brewery in OC. Loving the 2pm opening on Fridays as it gives me another option besides the two Bruery locations and Bottle Logic when I bolt from work early on Friday (wish more places would open a few hours earlier on Fridays - argh) ... good luck to you guys!

 

Thanks! We are beyond excited, its been quite the journey. The place looks absolutely insane...I've never seen a tap room quite like it before. Wait till you see the hand painted murals, pretty sure the artists were sleeping at the tap room last night on concrete floor with blankets trying to get this thing knocked out! We also installed a 4bbl system so the brewer is gonna be able to create a ton of one-offs and experiments for the tap room. We don't have a pilot system at our production brewery so that's basically what this is gonna be.

As far as the 2pm opening...the Packing House across the street is busy all day so we decided to give 2pm a shot and see how we do...

Seen bottles of their stuff in stores for a while but never tried. The artwork on Cosmonaut and Hell Hound Brown should look familiar

 

I'm just looking at their website now. Pretty crazy - they put a self-serve draft system in their tap room. First time I've seen a brewery do that. This is all i can find about when they are opening and it doesn't give a date, maybe they are referring to this week?

As said they've had a few bottles out before for some years? I think they previously contract brewed before similar to what Brouwerji West did

 

They could use a logo redesign.

 

that and stop using marker/comic-sans esc fonts would help tremendously.

 

I'm gonna start a brewery and use wingdings font for all my communications.

Just picked up a bottle of Knee Deep 6th Anniversary DIPA bottle-gold label. There's also a silver label, which is a session I believe. Anybody out there have any info on these? First time hearing bout them. I don't recall seeing any Anniversary bottles from Knee Deep in the past. The double is 8.7%. No date on bottle. But it looks fresh.
