They should just have Lakeland start pumping out King Sue in volume so all the frustrations can be taken out in a FL vs Decorah KS thread.

Eh...i had a buddy who isn't a beer nerd like most of its who was up in Decorah fishing/camping. Happened to be there at the last King Sue release, just wanted to try some TG for the first time, had no idea what KS was. After waiting in the line, he asked about the beer because, he knows near nothing about beer, tender rolled her eyes and asked for someone who was actually ready.

I, however, have only ever had good experiences at TG. Sometimes folks need to realize not everyone is a beer need. This criticism is not just about TG either.

There aren't enough dark alleys in our neighborhood to fight properly. Maybe we can find a nice, brightly lit strip mall to rumble?

And King Sue is wildly overrated!

    Oh snap! It's on!

I'm currently swimming in bottles of the latest TG releases (except for KS, because I drank it, and it's delicious), but on pregnancy-watch so I'm not drinking them. As a gesture of good faith, let me know if you'd like a bottle or 6.

I've seen similar things happen there as well. Never had a bad experience myself though. I think it just comes down to the fact that retail and customer service can be thankless stressful jobs.

No kidding. I remember when st. lam bottles collected dust at blue max. $40 (I think that was the retail on that one.. maybe 35) was a lot to drop on a beer back in the day. Buying bcs coffee bombers by the case... all the regular bcs you could imagine and it lasted almost until the next batch came out... Only one downfall to those days... saga hadn't been created yet. I'll take the saga trade-off any day

Making MD this year? I missed that. Was it another Clark tweet?

MD is always taken to GTOTM and presumably they'll want some to put in barrels too

Just to clarify for anyone misunderstanding, it debuts for a reserved dinner at Rubaiyat. Not the taproom.

They may but I don't believe that they've ever put MD into barrels.

No. Per a tweet at some point, KBBS has been in barrels for a good while now. Morning Delight is brewed, fermented, conditioned for a short time then released as is. Yes, they both have Maple and coffee but my understanding is that KBBS isn't simple BA Morning Delight.
