    Damn, my Chicago brother, am I THAT predictable? As I'm never going back to the store I got my latest four pack of FBS, I have to space out my remaining eight bottles until this year's release. Plus I got a twelve of 12th yesterday and was dying to try it. It don't disappoint. In fact, I think I'll do it again.

    This is a nice one, different. I like it better than the other coffee light beers out there because the hops balance out the coffee and chocolate

    Having a Kwak beer from Belgium. First since years.

    This beer has a history that goes back to the days of Napoleon. A great beer for people with a 'proper glassware' fetish :slight_smile: You can see what the proper glass looks like in the detailed second picture.

    The Kwak glass was made especially for the drivers of horse drawn carriages, who were under Napoleon law not allowed to leave their carriage unattended to have a beer. They were allowed to drink while driving however. Horses knew the way I guess.

    been a loonnng time since ive had this one...
    this was actually the first big beer that peaked my interest in, well, big beers :slight_smile:

    been in the fridge since probably october, but drinking beautifully.

    Good morning here, and good afternoon to you Right Coast'ers! Well, after a looooooong sabbatical (wow... a whole week :rolling_eyes: ), I think I've had you all waiting long enough for another installment of the Glass of the Day Awards! (Please people, try to contain your enthusiasm!!!)

    GotD: I think we will all be seeing a lot of this beer, but @goingbrokeonbeer served it up nicely in an appropriately Bavarian flag adorned handled tankard that saw a lot more action than just this beverage yesterday :grimacing: . Cheers and congrats!
    2nd: As stated above, this beer is flying off the shelves and @WesMantooth had to 1 up everyone with a 2-fer, in an authentic looking Munchener O'Fest ceramic mug. Nice to see the Veteran's keeping their glassware game up! :wink:
    3rd: Gotta give this award to @beergorrilla for another continuously used vessel for the day. I chose this pic because I felt it showed its 10 sided base and off centered oblong dimples well. Fancy!
    Honorable Mentions go out to @ScottyTheBeerGuy for a simple yet sweet rounded stemless teku, and to @FBarber for a proper FC Bayern Munchen dimpled krug (and there's that beer again!).
