I tried Rub and I really enjoyed the emotional journey that it took me on.

I stood there and read the list of ingredients, and I won't lie - it made me very anxious.
I took a whiff and the nose was very good, at least for me. Someone told me that the garlic stood out, but I guess I've been in enough Puerto Rican and Italian kitchens, because all I got was delicious porter and coffee.

Tried a bit and it was all porter at FIRST. It's good, I like it... oh what's this... spices... got spices, mellow and still present within the beer and then almost at the very end, I got that little bit of heat.

Usually when I have a beer it's easily just 2 transitions, this one took me into about 3 and a half.

The cans have probably been designed, just not submitted for approval.

Yes. But an assumption could be made that the picture portrays 5 years of cans/brews that have been released within that timeframe (i.e. tangible product); still time?

Can anyone who's been to Blind Tiger provide any insight into if all their legs will kick during the event? I'm away for the weekend and hope to stop by Monday for some Carton goodness.

    Sundae, you have my attention.

My plan worked, another smooth in and out Carton trip and even more cans. How's Rub drinking? Initial reviews look popular.

always bad to make assumptions in life, but especially with carton brewing and our antics...
here's how that really went: 6 months ago I said to the artist i work with "its our fifth anniversary coming up make me 5 out of all the cans we've done and logo it 'Yes We Can." yesterday he sent that over, and i thought it was cool so i put it on FB.

Ya. I thought it was pretty cool too; let’s get that logo on some 5th anniversary glassware. Congratulations to all your success, and continued success: product; distribution, special releases; experimentation; diversification; personification – All handled extremely well. The expectation has been set; one’s biases can only strengthen during the next 5 Years

…more assumptions/speculations to come for sure

I'm looking for to hearing what cans will be available this coming weekend since I'll be in the area for a family reunion. @augiecarton Does Barnacles still have Boat cans? Having lunch there Saturday.

Having grown up in the Lincroft area, oh how I miss the Barnacle Bill's burger. Probably haven't had it since before you posted that review 10 years ago unfortunately. Glad to hear they're still cranking it out.

Any chance that you'll brew Boxcarton again, @augiecarton ? I had it at the Cloverleaf tap takeover April 2015, and I've had that beer in my head ever since. So much flavor for a 4% porter.

we brew it all the time, we do for box car/freebridge/wardell they usually have it on. keep an eye on their beermenus page.
like all the other bar specific beers: canyon; wit whale, the dudviants and so on we bring them to events when it seems right.

Wait I don't know why this never registered but are the dubviants on at their respective bars year round? That just kind of blew my mind and I know it should have been so obvious and common sense. I gotta get up to Monmouth Beach more for 50
