Or, and this is just a thought, if it's so obvious your fan base is mostly local, why did you feel the need to point that out?

And here's something for you to think about, which is at the crux of what i was saying:

There are many world-class breweries that have tremendous following outside of their local base. Some that come to mind are Hill Farmstead, Casey, Side Project, Toppling Goliath, Cantillon, Ale Apothecary, etc...

Perhaps had JWB and Mr. Wakefield specifically not been so astigmatic in handling his Original fan base, and had not acted so petulantly when confronted with justified criticism, then he may have built a bit larger of a non-local fan base. Word travels fast in the craft beer world, and Mr. Wakefield has done likely irreparable damage to his reputation on his own, calculated accord.

I understand that you (and you seem like a nice guy, just caught in vitriolic crossfire), specifically, were not in charge of putting people on email lists, returning emails, delivering glassware, responding in a professional manner to criticism, not naming beers in an "I'm-rubber-you're-glue" manner, but understand that there are plenty of people who are still upset about this.

Keep this in perspective: Less time has passed since the ending of the OG Society until now, than had passed from the time hundreds of fans spent hundreds of dollar until they received the goods for which they paid.

 

I hope so! Just not sure where, but we'll post places that'll have it, once it's confirmed. Maybe not all, since those places will put them on when they choose to.

Win/Win in my book - we get a thread that stays on topic, and they can continue their circle-jerk of post likes and bickering.

It's ridiculous. I'm an outsider to the whole situation. I initially sympathized with team OGs, but they're just way too bitter and fn annoying. Trolling this thread accomplishes absolutely nothing.
