I think bottle counts will be much higher as opposed to past releases due to the expansion and increased production of the brewery. Not to mention its all about the $$ amirite?

I even got the last shake at the bar at like 730 or 8.

I got there at about 1040p last night, no D2H3 but got a full allotment of Alien Church. Unless they had a rush at the end of the night, I would expect some to go on sale today at Noon

have to imagine most bottles released will be large numbers.... wine barrel aged and or bourbon/other specialty barrels may still be smaller releases and disappear quickly but I'd be shocked to see the day they have a bottle release and people line up and somebody in the back of the line is shutout.... don't think that will ever happen again... could be wrong.... one of these days some OV variants will come out and we'll see how it goes

Yeah, that makes sense. The conspiracy theorist in me was thinking they might want to limit the production on certain things, say para6 and 7, to keep the para rarity allure thing going, but then I doubt they'd purposely limit the amount of money they'd be making.

I just hope with the cans they don't get too crazy and start upping the allotments just because they have been making it to the late evening or next day. The 2-3 four pack limits lately have been perfect. Maybe bump it up a little on something like HopHands.

Yeah, I would hope that in general, whether cans or bottles, they'd like to give everyone at least a decent shot at getting some. Would be a shame if they readjusted things just to sell out super quickly instead of fairly quickly/

I can't agree with this more. If people know that their window to get cans is 5p-10p (or even into the next day at noon) as opposed to "get there by 5p or your screwed" it will go a long way to increasing their customer base. They may still sell the same amount of cans but they'll be pleasing more customers. In the end, that's only a good thing.

This round of Grassman is ridiculous - so f'ing good.

D2H3 Galaxy was pretty decent, better than expected considering HopHands is still off.

In what way is HopHands "off"? Are you discussing off-flavors? If so, what off-flavors?

    Cheers!

Alien Church is the best it's ever been IMO. Had a can last night and that beer was perfect. Just spreading the positivity, cheers.

Cheers, here's a picture of it. I tasted the grapefruit zest flavor as advertised and I think that's the Galaxy. D2H3 has more of a bitter "bite" than most of the Tired Hands beers and I like that. I recently had Trillium's Galaxy Fort Point which was pretty similar to this beer but imo FP was more bitter.

I preferred D2H3 to normal HopHands and it's a good refreshing beer for August.

I recently homebrewed a clone of Trillium Galaxy Fort Point Ale and I really enjoyed that beer. I have never tasted the Trillium version so I have no idea how close my beer came to theirs. A photograph of my beer is below.

    Cheers!

D2H3 galaxy is awesome. I've loved all their galaxy hopped beers lately.

I'm thinking of having my buddy bring me a growler of HopHands down to Jacksonville when he comes to visit this week. He is driving. Is that a good idea? Do they counter pressure fill? Will the growler hold up? Thanks in advance for your responses. Cheers!

Not trying to be a jerk, but I won't say it is the best batch of Alien Church; liked the brew cafe batches a little more. With all that being said I still love this batch of Alien Church (Fermentaria's best batch) and wish I could have bought a full case, 12 cans was not enough!

My experience is that while Tired Hands beers are world class and absolutely amazing their growlers do not hold up very well....best if guzzeled within 24 - 48 hours.....

Short answer, no. Even the owner has said that the beer is meant to be consumed within a couple of days. Many will say they have cracked these after they were around the world on a slow camel and they still tasted great, but I have had them the next day and they are flatter than the Olympic gymnasts. Don't waste the money.

Don't believe the anti-hype. Keep it cold and it will last a good week until you open it
