Ocean City, New Jersey, beer options?

    Going to be there for a few days next week with family -- any restaurants with decent tap lists? Beer stores? Didn't see Ocean City on the list of spots in New Jersey on the main BA index, so that didn't seem like a good sign . . .

    Ocean City is a dry town, so you'll have to leave there to find anything. Make sure to remember to bring you own with you.

    Tuckahoe Brewing is not far and is pretty decent. Cape May Brewing is a bit farther but also pretty good.

    Also Circle Liquors just across the 9th St. Bridge in Somers Point usually has some good stuff in stock.

    Get off at exit 25 (takes you to 34th St in Ocean City) and go to Super Liquors, they have a huge selection.

    Canals on Fire Road if you decide to go out to Tuckahoe. Otherwise Passion and Vines in SP as noted. There is a Roger Wilco in Ventnor City that also has a big and unorganized selection. No idea how they find anything in that store but it was a place that used to get Kane bottles that saw distribution back in the day.

    I go to OC every year and load up at Circle before heading across the bridge. Solid selection as long as you aren't looking for anything super rare. Per the advice above, I'm going to check out Passion & Vines this time around.

    I'm coming down from NYC and plan on stopping at Carton in Atlantic Highlands and Spirits Unlimited in Toms River (which is right off the GSP) on my way. Not sure what options you have heading up from VA though

    I was just down there for a week. I thought Tuckahoe was very good and Cape May worth a visit.
