I'm looking for ideas for end of summer - tailgating - camping, canned beer. Or just tell me what canned beer I should try to trade for. Either way. Just wanting to try some new brews.
Nothing thats too hard to obtain please. Thanks for the help.

Could you elaborate on what styles you are looking for? Lagunitas 12th of Never is a good pale ale. Comes in 12 pack cans. Pretty easy to get

Any style! Maybe some excellent local stuff that doesn't see wide distribution? But I agree on 12th of Never!

Anything that would be good to get throught this dam heat wave. Unsure about the northwest, but the northeast is like one huge swamp.

Loaded up on cans when pool and camping season started here. Found plenty of offerings from Sierra Nevada, 21st Amendment, Anderson Valley (Trader Joe's is my go to for this), Oskar Blues, Pizza Port, Anchor. No idea what your distribution is a state away, good luck.

If you like IPA's Founders All Day IPA can be found in fifteen packs of cans. A nice refreshing beer for hot summer days. I also like Leinenkugels Summer Shandy for our boiling hot 100 plus degree summer we have been having. There are also a lot of great wheat beers that can be found in cans that can be quite refreshing on a hot summer day. Sorry to see some of the seasonals already dropping off the radar in our area like NinKasi's Hop Cooler. This was a fantastic citrus IPA and I look forward to the next year that this fine beer comes out.

Founders All Day IPA and Sierra Nevada Otra Vez are my go-to summer beers in packs of cans.

If you're looking to trade, I'd highly recommend Creature Comforts Tropicalia or Athena. But I'll put in another vote for 12th of Never as well.

I came to add 12th of Never, but see it was already mentioned. One of the best APAs I've tried in a while

    Here's some:
12th of Never Lagunitas - Don't care how many have mentioned it, it's THAT good!

Greenwood Beach Temperance Pineapple Blonde ale - A perfect Summer refresher

Dessert Beer: Horny Goat Chocolate Peanut Butter Porter - Liquid Reese's Cups!

And If you want to start early with a good Oktoberfest then try Buckledown's Oktoberfest
-Best American Festbier I've had so far!

Oskar Blues - anything, really, but Dale's Pale Ale is what came to mind first.
Anderson Valley - any of the gose varieties
As stated previously, Founders All Day IPA
Evil Twin - Mission Gose, Geyser Gose (collab w/ Two Roads)
SixPoint - anything . The tall skinny cans might be easier to pack
    Cigar City - Jai Alai

I was in Oregon last week and there were cans everywhere. Block 15, Ex Novo, Westbrook...and about a dozen other breweries I didn't have a chance to sample. Seriously, I saw way more canned beers than bottled beers.

You live in Oregon... you shouldn't have to trade to get good beer in cans or otherwise.

Best bang for your buck: Sierra Nevada 12ers. Nooner, Pale, Otra Vez, Torpedo all come in canned 12 packs and are always a great value. (By the way, all four packs are $10.99 each at Total Wine right now if you have one by you .) Cheers!

As far as canned releases... here are my favorites:

    Modern Times Blazing World
    Modern Times Oneida
    (Summer Seasonal)
Firestone Walker Luponic Distortion (Rev 002 is good, 003 will be hitting distros very soon)
    Firestone Walker DBA (Classic ESB)
Firestone Walker Union Jack (Best everyday IPA in my opinion)
    Pizza Port Swami

Pale Ale cans here run 14.99 and are a bit harder to get, Bottles are easier to find for sure and are the same price or a buck cheaper.

I wanted a pack of cans to take hunting last year and I ended up with bottles, more weight, etc.

Oskar Blues, Modern Times - Booming Rollers (my favorite), Black House, fruitlands, Westbrook- Gose, Anderson Valley - Gose's, Evil Twin - Mission Gose, Nomader Weisse, any the Breaks. Sierra Nevada- The Mix 12 is ok but Otra Vez is gross. Founders - All Day

If you are a Trader any New England Beer pretty much (granted not all, have to say this before, its off with my head) like Treehouse- majority are canned (some are not), Nightshift- whirlpool, morph, one hop this time, Alchemist, Fiddlehead- second fiddle, Hodad, NEBCO- weise trash culture, G-Bot, Coriolis. Most should be easily to obtain through trades.

My favorite beer of the year, so far, is House by Central States. A rustic blonde ale, 100% Brett. Awesome warm weather beer. Only flaw is that it's in 16oz cans. I prefer 12oz. Damn tasty brew.
