I'm taking a trip to NYC in a couple weeks and I'd love to get some recommendations for best craft breweries to visit in the area. I'll probably only have time to check out a few.

    Thanks!

Hmm if I had to pick 3. Other Half, SingleCut, Threes. A couple other to consider, Finback and LIC Beer Project.

I would argue LIC Beer Project before SingleCut. It's much easier to get to and, in my opinion, they have a more diverse menu of beers they do well.

I would suggest starting off at Other Half, then take the 15 min walk over to Threes Brewing. Then walk to the G train at Fulton St and take it to the Nassau stop in Greenpoint. There you can visit Keg+Lantern and Torst, both are less than a half block from the train. Get back on the G and take it to 21st/Jackson in Long Island City, Queens. In that area you can visit Transmitter and LIC Beer Project. (Rockaway and Big Alice are also in the area)

If you are feeling adventurous from there, get back on the G and take it to Court st, transfer to the 7 for one stop to Queens Plaza and on the same platform wait for the N/Q and take that to the end of the line at Astoria/Ditmars. From there it's about a 15 min walk to Singlecut.
