I'm with you guys too, start back soon. I work in the summer too but such a stress free job I never minded heading to tired hands after. Teaching all day then going, different story.

Yeah standing in line for a few hours after a lazy morning is worlds apart from a 5am wakeup followed by 9+ hours of crazy pre-teens. I'm gonna try to keep coming though.

My summer job ended at 6:30, so ironically I have a better shot during the school year.

Haven't called out to leave early to buy beer, but almost had to call out sick the day after the 1st Anniversary party.... Dealing with high school kids the day after that was a rough Monday.

I'm all for the BA Teacher Sub Group. Now raise your hands if teaching is what started you off drinking... I'm in Wildwood, so it's a hike for any releases. However, a Tuesday social media update about a milkshake release could easily turn into a Wednesday sick day!

Lots of teachers here, me included. Have to say very jealous of how many of you haven't started yet...I have kids on Monday! I do feel lucky with being done 2:30, will be really easy to make release this fall!

    Hey everyone,

I have a buddy out of state who wants me to pick up some cans for him. I have never been to Tired Hands, can I only get cans during a release on one day? When is the release? Could I go in on a saturday and buy cans?

Sorry for the lack of knowledge, thanks for the help

Releases are generally on Wednesdays at 5p. Cans sometimes last into the next day, but based on prior releases your chances of getting cans on a Saturday are nil.

The bottles sound interesting but super vague in their descriptions. I'll definitely try a bottle of the dry hopped one though and I'm hoping it is tart.
They're always at 5pm but can be Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday (there is a release today). You can check their instagram or this thread the week you want to go to figure it out.

Thanks! Any idea how long the line is for a release? I think i'll swing by today after work.

It varies pretty significantly but my prediction is that the line won't be very long and some beer might last the night. 2 of the beers today have been canned multiple times before so they don't bring as big of a crowd.

If you get there by 5 you should be fine. Although they've never done 3 different cans before so the yields/allotments might be out of whack.
