Just back from trip to Boston/Vermont, love the BA forums with info on places to go and things to do. Probably would have missed Foam Brewing if not for the threads. Also, was able to post couple of IP trade requests that came to fruition: one for Maine Dinner, the gentleman also bringing some Bissell Bros and Foundation Epiphany, even met us between Portland and Boston since we were traveling back from VT in same general direction.........second we traded some of our VT haul for different Tree House cans (got Julius and Alter Ego on Weds, traded for Bright and Green), guy even met us at Trillium Fort Point area. Thanks again to both of you if you see this post.

Highlights of trip: Tree House on Weds, was pacing in rental car line thinking we'd get there too late, got to TH at 3:15, short line, in and out with max cans in no time. Guy my wife and I stayed with last year had 20 Heady waiting when hit Waterbury, picked up and shared beers on his back porch before checking in hotel. Downtown Waterbury, love Pro Pig, Blackback, Reservoir, and CBC all there together. Warren Store Thurs morning, met some very nice ladies from NJ that were getting beer for their hubbies (if you're reading, hope they enjoyed the Creature Tropicalia). Shared some Trop with another nice guy in same line, as well as other stops throughout our travels. Alchemist and Hill Farmstead also on Thurs. Von Trapp Lodge for a sampler and lovely views. Fiddlehead (got Mastermind cans on Friday), Shelburne Wine Vineyard (lady owner super nice and gave us short personalized tour), Foam Brewing, Farmhouse Tap and Grill. IP on way back to and in Boston, Trillium (only disappointment was Scaled was only hoppy brew available when there, other was a wheat ale so we bought too, last was a stout), Row 34, Fort Point Market where picked up Night Shift Santilli, and Limoncello in the North End. All good things came to an end Sun morning as headed back to ATL. Can't wait to visit again. Now time to enjoy all the NE brews I got home!

Wow, awesome trip. I've done just about everything you did (though not at once) so it must have been spectacular for you. Glad to hear it went well.

My buddy was at Trillium on Monday and he was bummed about the lack of hop forward selections, but I just tried to Pier he brought back (the wheat ale) and it is really lovely for this current weather, and it's quite hoppy.

Yeah, Trillium Pier is certainly a hoppy beer. And a damn good one. I prefer it over Substance, Santilli and Tropicalia, for instance.

I actually did have a Stoneface Blip IPA at Row 34. Good beer!

Yes, Pier was actually more hoppy than I expected. I'm not a big wheat fan, so was happy with the hop presence knocking back alot of the wheat.
