Other Half Brewing August 2016

Seems like a shorter line than last release. Last release the line was half way down Garnet at this time. If logic follows, should be able to head in around 11:30 and pick up all cans with no wait.

Lines halfway down the block. Tap room is quite full.

 

How's the supply of Space Diamonds looking? Trying to decide whether to swing by now.

 

Cops came this morning and talked to a guy who was drinking on Smith with a bunch of friends. They were drinking straight out of the can, didn't even make an effort to hide it. Made for some decent entertainment. Can't help but think the more often this happens, the more greater the chance of Other Half running into issues themselves.

 

No line at all. Just walked in all beer left.

 

Strolled in at 11:30, no line, all cans. Looks like they'll run out of Diamonds first, no rush on Simcoe.

Space Diamonds is tasting great right now. Getting tons of that signature Galaxy spicy mango / ripe pineapple flavor.

Heading there early tomorrow early. Hoping some Simcoe and BBS cans are still available but with a majority of 32oz fills being down to $8-$10 I won't be too upset if all the cans sell out even though I have a feeling they'll last

 

FYI - they did open early at 9:30. Line moved pretty quickly. Got there at 8:30, line opened at 9:30, and was done by 10:30.

 

Anyone ask what's up next?

 

Yea, I was about to get on the subway and head over, but remembered the new low growler prices. It takes me twice the time to get to OH from home as it does from my office, so I'll just swing by on Tuesday and get a fill or two.

Space Diamonds is pretty freaking amazing. Spicy mango, pineapple soft mouthfeel. If you like Galaxy hops this is for you.

 

Missed it by one minute. Damn!

 

Showed up at 1115, waited on line for 5 mins and 2 4-packs of each beer. Took me 45 mins to get there (success!) and 2 h 30 m to get home (not success!). Fucking belt pkwy got me again. Thanks a lot guy whos car went on fire...

Just cracked my first can, space diamonds, sitting on the beach. This beer is fantastic. Cant wait to see how it develops.

Gotta say for my first OH run in months it went real smooth.
