Bruery 2016 RS/HS Allocations

I got an invite! I'm extremely honored. It will be a huge splurge, but I'm definitely accepting! #HS2017

 

For future reference , try to refrain from posting any "inside" info you may receive... unless you like opening up cans of worms....

On that note, I haven't spent shit so far this year and still got my HS invite/renewal. Guess it pays to not be a difficult, complaining, self entitled, douchebag(hint hint)!

 

I just got confirmation from my trustee that my invite came too (hours after I posted the above about not spending much). If someone like myself who due to circumstances only has spent ~$400 this year got an invite I doubt they are excluding anyone due to not spending enough (for which I'm thankful for, nice to know they're not just going for the maximum cash grab like some other businesses/breweries).

 

I emailed them last year w/ the concern that the language "first right of refusal" was gone in the 2016 terms and knowing I'd have to reel in my purchasing due to life & a cellar bursting with Bruery beers I need to get to first. They responded saying no need to worry, nobody is getting the boot due to $ spent.

I figure they wanted to just ensure they have the power to drop people if necessary for bending/breaking rules or something.

Got my HS renewal postcard today in MN. So they have not only made it beyond the California border, but past the Rocky Mountains and into the great beyond.

 

Anxiously awaiting here in GA, or as otherwise called 'the other side of the World'.

Well now I've heard everything...

 

I just pulled a bottle of batch 2 (possible batch 1) out from the deepness of my beer closet, I'll check it out and let you know how it's drinking!

 

For those of you that have just received a HS invite, would any of you be willing to share how long you were in RS and how heavy your purchases were? Just trying to get an idea as this was my first year in RS.

 

If you look up the previous Bruery threads this kind of information usually fills a couple pages with a slew of other speculation on how invites were received.

 

Spent a little time looking in the 2015 thread but couldn't find anything about spending habits. The specifics are unknown but I'll wait and see. Not in a rush to spend more money.

 

From the millions of times it's been asked, it has only a little to do with actual spending or length of time in RS. We've all discussed this possibilities and there are no real answers. Sit, wait, and hope. That's all you can do.
