Unless a flight to Chicago is way cheaper, don't fly there. It is farther and both traffic and scenery are much better via Mn.

Uhhh, are there Airbnb's in Decorah? All I'm seeing is Cresco and way away.

Balls. I didn't realize how small it was. I should have booked early. Any suggestions on my best option? Stay sober and drive away?

There are hotels in town, last year I went to md day and it was the best beer day of my life. There are two taxi services, and they'll know about the event, or at least they did last year.

We finally left c&c about 10 I think last year and called for a cab, walked out and there was one waiting so we hopped in. 5 minutes later get a call from the cab service asking where we are, tell them in a cab and get chewed out for calling then using the competitor. I thought there was only one also.

My plan for coming from out of town would be:
    • Fly to MSP
    • Find someone driving down from msp. Offer to pay for the hotel in exchange for ride.
    • Find someone sharing in Decorah Friday, stay at hotel
    • Drink at C&C Saturday am
    • TG Saturday pm
    • Pulpit rock in there too
    • Get a Mabe's or some bbq from the place above c&c
    • Taxi back to hotel
    • Be hungover
    • Make other guy drive back to msp
    • Fly home broke and hungover but with two md

The quality inn is where we stayed last year, it was $140 for a two queen room with three guys. They also let us bottle share in the lobby. Probably didn't need to open broken truck and cable car at that point but why not when you've been drinking for 12+ hours?

Ok they had me worried when they said there was 1 cab in Decorah. I thought they literally meant a single car and was thinking damn I'm gonna be walking literally everywhere and according to google the Super 8 is 2.2 miles from the brewery.

I stay at the Winnishiek unless I have my dog with me then I stay at the Quality Inn. The Winnishiek is the only thing walkable, but the room rates are steep. Bright side, the hotel bar has TG on draft always

Yesir! We'll be doing C&C share similar to last years. Prob same ticketing system to maintain some order. (New glass, and we've got our food world a hell of a lot more organized..) I'll post details up here when we're closer to it.
There will be fun taps! I've been holding onto a few things. One surprise to spoil..

Really great to hear this! From what I can cobble together from friends I apparently had an excellent time last year.

Have you considered soliciting a food truck?

So what a shit show buying Mornin Delight tickets turned out to be. I don't have a problem not getting any tickets. What I do have a problem with is, 8 different times getting a chance check out after selecting the 1 pm checkout time only to have the website crash. Seriously TG this is the best you can come up with? Shame on me for thinking you are a well run brewery. Let alone a brewery run by professionals.

I unfortunately have a bachelor party to go to that day so I can't help you out with driving down but if you don't find a ride and need one from MSP feel free to pm, I'm sure I can help you find someone. I'm AM also but I'm just gonna swing in and grab my beer and go. The shit I do for friends...
