I'm really only a stout drinker, especially milk stout. I like to mix it with half-and-half and sip on it around the house in the evening and before bed. Since pumpkin season is coming up, and I LOVE the flavor of pumpkin, can anyone point me towards a really popular or high-rated pumpkin stout? Maybe something with the traditional pumpkin spices in it?

I think that would taste fantastic! A roasty, coffee, chocolatey pumpkin with all its spices of clove, cinnamon, and nutmeg mixed with creamy half-and-half... God that sounds incredible...

Anyway, I'm not real knowledgeable on beers, so if anyone can point me to some brands or breweries, it would be much appreciated.

    Best regards

Not a stout but uf you can find Elysian Punkaccino that sounds right up your alley. But if not then they also have the pumpkin stout Dark o the Moon.

Milk in your milk stout? ...

Try Prairie Christmas Bomb. Stout with cinnamon, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, chili.
Or Breckenridge Pumpkin Spice Latte coffee stout. Heard that one kinda sucks though.

Starr Hill's Boxcarr Pumpkin Porter is a beer that fits your flavor profile.

Elysian also brews The Great Pumpkin an Imperial Pumpkin Ale . Very nice and highly recommended.

I dig Southern Tier's Warlock. I like it even better than Pumking (Pumking has been hit or miss/polarizing for me the last few years).

Here's a thought - mix a Southern Tier Creme Brulee with a DFH Punkin. Maybe 2/3 Creme Brulee to 1/3 Punkin. Keep in mind that I am not nearly man enough to try that, but I kind of get the gist of what you are aiming for, I think - the beer version of a Pumpkin Latte? This combo should nail it.

Another vote for Warlock. And now it's available in 4-packs so you don't have to commit to a bomber.

More direct, what about mixing Southern Tier's Creme Brulee/2XPresso/Choklat (any of these really, could try different ones) with Pumking?

I was going to add Jahva/Mokah, but I guess those were discontinued.

It seems to me like numerous breweries are moving away from bombers in favor of four packs these days (thank God)...

You'd have to trade for it unfortunately, but there's a local place in MA that makes essentially exactly what you're asking for:

Cape Ann Brewery Imperial Pumpkin Stout
    https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/8325/62244/

They make a regular version too. Both are very good and lean more on actual pumpkin flavor than sweet spices.

I'd offer to help you get some, but despite the label BA has given me for some reason, I don't actually play the trading game.

I was going for simplicity, but you went full barista. Kudos!

Sadly, now I am getting a hankering for mixing a few things with Creme Brulee. I'm thinking Xocoveza and Creme Brulee would make a fun attempt at a spiced chai.

My exact thoughts. That's one of the most disturbing things I've heard anyone do with beer.
