Enjoy your rehab. I am just finishing mine. Since I did not have surgery the rehab lasted just a couple of months. Hope yours goes well. My daughter tore her ACL and between the surgery and rehab it took many, many moons before she was back to normal (as normal as a teenager can be).

Hooked on Maduro right now, and I'm afraid I got my daughter hooked as well. Cheers!

Having a Battle Axe for the first time. Not a bad IPA, pretty smooth and fruity. Goes well with a smoked Boston pork butt open face sandwitch. I smoked it couple a days ago. I chunked it instead of shredding it and dropped some Carolina style BBQ sauce on it.

Nice beer! I really like Cape Cod chips. My wife is not such a big fan so she does not buy them unless I go shopping with her. Something I hate to do.

Picked this gem (Pioneer Trailblazer) up today at a great new brewery in CT. Artwork on cans and glassware pays tribute to history of industry in CT. Excellent ownership and brewing. Cheers

Decent kölsch. Probably not my favorite one, but it's doing a great job of washing down some pizza and wings.

The newly release Creature Comforts/Wicked Weed Collaboration, Juiceless. Crazy how juicy this beer tastes without using a bit of fruit. Well done!

Just saying hello from a fellow Maduro addict. My next one will be a Maduro. Not to suggest that your photo hastened my decision, but it did.

Cheeseburgers in paradise with a colleague's home brewed rye IPA. It is pretty cloudy, quite bitter, nice hop bite, but I think the hops hide the rye. Pretty tasty, but just ever so slightly out of balance.

Love Ella and Duke, but personally...

Seriously, I like playing this up tempo because it makes the trombone parts more fun in modern arrangements, but I also respect the hell outta the roots. Hmmm...reminds me of brewing. Riff on styles all you want, but respect the origins.

Second of the 3 ocktoberfest brews I brought back from Columbus. Seems about halfway between Marzen and Festbier.

Now you may be thinking that this is something that I picked up on my way back from dropping the kid back at school a few weeks back. Unfortunately what was early move in for my daughter's school was OU's move in day - I guess Athens, OH is known for more than just JackieO's. Thwarted (this time) I had to dip into the cellar.
