What beer are you drinking now? #1412

how is that drinking right now? I ran across a solitary bottle yesterday and didn't buy for fear of maltiness.

 

Tis true, good IPA's all over the place up here. But depending on the bank account and release schedules this may be calling for a Vermont or Massachusetts trip. Trillium has some beers out recently that I've yet to try and Frost and Foley Brothers in Vt I've only had once so there's plenty more from them to try. And I could really go for some Fiddlehead right about now. Plus I still have a week of vacation to use it or lose it by the end of the year.

 

Go on a Trillium/Tree House trip. If I had the time I definitely would!

 

I think it is tasting really good. I never got really fresh this year, thanks to distribution in my area. Definitely plenty hoppy still.

 

Stout is just a tad too hoppy for me a little less as it warms , or I warm .

I love that beer I like the face ripping hoppiness I like the alcohol just well put together, for what it is.

 

just got this in trade yesterday..this won 1st place at FOBAB last year..can kinda see why..rye whiskey barrel aged...2015 bottle..smoky,boozy,chocolatey,dark fruits,some spice..worth seeking out.

College football is back!! I could not be happier. Long school week but Friday's off are amazing. Started off the night with the first Pumking of the season, gonna finish the night with a Freaktoberfest from Coney Island brewery.

I always have a good time in Maine. Yann Bandana was great, but there are better brews out there. If you slip down for 12 bucks its worth a howler, but don't beat yourself up if you missed it.

Good evening, all! I've been quite impressed with Funkwerks lately, and here is another outstanding offering from this brewery: Deceit, a Belgian-style golden ale. Plenty of funk, plenty of spice, a crisp, dry finish, and a pleasant alcohol bite. Not to mention it looks absolutely stunning in this glass, with clouds of bubbles rising all day long. This is a winner!

One of my absolute favorites from Pipeworks. I managed to snag two and shared the first with my brother this weekend.
