Figured I'd pull something out of the cellar to celebrate my promotion at the dealership!

We'll give this one a shot:

Always awesome session IPA. Bright flavors grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, lemon/orange peel, and pine; with light honey/bready malts and floral/grassy hop earthiness. Nice medium bitter finish; with a smooth, crisp, and moderately sticky/resin mouthfeel with light grainy malt creaminess. Very robust and flavorful hop profile with balanced maltiness for the ABV. I need to keep this in the fridge more often than I have been. Definitely one of my top favorites for the style.

Very nice witbier. Pretty standard stuff. Flavors of lemon, lime, pear, apple, coriander, orange peel, pepper, clove, and light banana; moderate wheat, cracker, agave maltiness; with herbal/grassy spice and yeasty earthiness. Light-moderate herbal bitterness/yeast spice on the finish; with slight fruit tartness/wheat tang. Medium bodied; grainy wheat creaminess and slight spice stickiness in the mouthfeel. Lightly drying finish. Very drinkable, well balanced, flavorful, and refreshing. Quite high on ABV @6.6% for the style.

This is really great stuff. Flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, mango, and light pine; balanced honey, cracker, biscuit malt; and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/spicy bitterness with slight fruit tartness on the finish. Medium bodied; balanced grainy creaminess and hop stickiness in the mouthfeel. Lightly drying from hop bitterness on the finish through the glass. Refreshing and fairly crisp. Really spot on for a pale ale. Really well balanced, and really doesn't feel like a fruit beer. Not overloaded on the fruits, but enough to meld well against the hop character.

2014 is tasting fantastic. Flavors of big grapefruit/orange rind/pine hops; with raisin/plum dark fruits; and caramel, brown sugar, toffee, toasted biscuit malts. Balanced sticky/resin and creamy/slick medium-full body mouthfeel. Good resinous hop dryness. Love this beer after around a year+ of age. Still got a few of these '14 left, and one random '11 that has been in my closet for a long time. Might crack it open this year. Need to find some lingering 2015's to get my cellar stash rolling again. Same goes with North Coast Old Stock.

    Cheers

Evening advocates! Decided to have a couple brews on this lovely day before the last day before a three day weekend! Going with an oft used combination as of late for me, Ballast point dead ringer, then SN oktoberfest. Love pairing this beer with college football!!
Fall is almost upon us adovocates, but first lets enjoy a three day summer like weekend!!
Cheers BA and I'll see you this weekend!!

Thursday night share at @oach's was a road trip. Started with remnants from his FL vacation.
Another share contributor recently visited Madison WI and brought these Karben4's for the evening.

Since the host had to wrap up around nine, thought I'd check out the menu for Sovereign in downtown Plainfield, and found two I'm interested in. First up-@bowzer4birdie, I found me some Hailstorm Cumulus. Like you said-very good attempt, but no Julius or Trillium. Think I'll stick with Ram Brewery's Juicy in a few weeks.

Bottled 8/24. Really good but probably not something I'd pay $10 a 500ml for again

Sadly, the last of my Citra Hero. But the Mosaic Army moves in...

Happy with the team I drafted, so now going to watch some real college football :grimacing: and compare notes on the Hero's. Unfair advantage to Mosaic though, as it was just canned last week.
