Saw the thread for hoppy beers so I HAD to make a Sour Version! MUHAHAHAHAAA!
    So here's mine:
Une Anne - Practically all of the amazing sours they put out are amazing!

Almanac - Pretty much the same story here! Amazing offerings from their farm-to-barrel line!

Rodenbach - No story needed here. Belgium's best still putting out some of the best sours in the world in my opinion. (Alexander/Character Rouge)

The Bruery - Again, many awesome sours put out from here, Their Tart of Darkness remains in my top 3!

Off Color - Both Feirce and their Yuzu Feirce remain my favorite Berliner Weisses, although they put out some other great sours as well!

Honorable Mention: Three Floyd's....Just for Pear Bear :grinning:

    So what's yours?! :grinning:

P.S. I can't express how many other amazing breweries are out there that make amazing sours, but I gotta limit myself here, because where's the fun if I don't leave some of it up to you guys?! :grinning:

Odd 13 (IPAs are great but they have nice sours too)
    New Belgium
    TRVE
    Crooked Stave Lineup
    Funkwerks

An all-Colorado lineup! Unintentional, I haven't tried that many Belgian sours so most of my favorites are locals.

Not going to list 5, but Indiana has two breweries making outstanding sours. Upland makes, in my opinion, the best lambics in the United States. Their entire collection of sours is truly amazing. Tin Man, a newer brewery out of Evansville, is doing a lot of good things with sours as well and is canning a different sour every quarter. Keep an eye out for them if you are in the area.

FWIW Three Floyds has produced the majority of the worst sours I've ever had

If we're talking American breweries my top breweries are as follows:
    Russian River
    Wicked Weed
    Allagash
    Cascade
    Side Project
    Goose Island
    Jester King
    Crooked Stave

Those Tin Man "sours" are way too sweet to be sours :slight_frown:

They certainly aren't traditional Lambics, but I found plenty of tartness in them to counteract the sweetness. Big fan of Damascene.

For one that hasn't been mentioned and happens to be in my town I will say that Jack's Abby sour releases and their sour barrel project are pretty solid.

Honorable mentions to: Side Project, Hill Farmstead, Crooked Stave, Jester King, Sante Adairius, Rodenbach, Allagash, Wicked Weed, Russian River, New Glarus, Cascade, Goose Island, and a personal favorite, OEC.

Nothing personal, but I couldn't help but laugh at Upland being mentioned at all. They're nowhere near the most authentic "lambic" brewery in the US. Allagash, De Garde (with Broken Truck), and Funk Factory Geuzeria all destroy them in authenticity, and you won't need an industrial bottle of Tums afterward.
