Sigh, another brewery that will be clogging up the shelf space. Excited to see if we get any cool kegs, but thinking the "fun" bottles will be few an far between

Rum King will be coming out in early October. This year it will be packaged in 4-packs of 12oz cans.

Huh. Interesting. I wonder how the aging process will change in a can vs. a bottle. I don't think I've ever purchased a can of BA beer before...

Hopefully will cut down on oxidation. I've had this with some age on it and it did not hold up well.

Agreed. My experience is that RK falls off a damn cliff after 1 year.

Uh oh, anyone interested in a big Rum King party? I think I have a handful from last year. I had one a few weeks ago that was still pretty good, but it was next to a fire, so I wasn't paying that much attention to it.

Ba tenfidy was great in a 16 oz can. Maybe it was a 20oz, I don't recall.

Rum King has definitely gotten better with each batch. The first year was incredibly thin. I think it was their attempt at a spirit barrel-aged beer. I did a head-to-head comparison of that batch after a year versus the fresh batch and it was way better fresh, but the subsequent batches were better initially and also aged better.

Up the street at Byerly's has Abbys 14-15, Dissident, not the Stoic, and many BA Avery beers ou too. I think someone mentioned it earlier.
Also, $5 off Pentagram, still $20!

I'm seeing old Abyss & old Black Butte anniversary beers in several places I've stopped this week. The distributor must have either received a bonus shipment or be clearing out items they've been holding onto.

Marketplace in Savage had it as of 5:30pm tonight. I think it was $10 or $11.

Any idea when CW BB quad will start poppin up?

As a related note, looking for any shops that might still have a few stragglers of the other BB CW brews (Barleywine, SA, etc.). Thanks!

I think CW said the quad would start to hit distro during the last week of September.

Edit: I just double checked in Twitter. They said Sept. 26
