They're definitely brewing more. Over the past year, hasn't new equipment even popped up in the bay beyond a centrifuge? (maybe @Kanger can confirm upgraded volume)

The first AGE can release in May(ish?) 2015 sold out by 1045 or so while lines were really slow (meaning they processed fewer people before selling out), showing up at 930 meant you were at the first corner, and everybody was maxing on 4 4pks. And, that was only a double release with 1 case limit on Mosaic. This weekend 4 cases are available and the beer will definitely last until at least 1045 and they're processing more people with the cash line.

I get that bigger allocations doesn't necessarily mean more beer, particularly with the convenience for them of selling out, but it definitely feels like over the past year+ there is much more beer available on Saturdays. And when it does look like there will be very obvious shortages (All Dank or No Layups for example), they adjust the limits appropriately.

My question is, what happened to the $6 break on buying a case!?!?

Same amount being brewed. ~30 bbl per beer. Just upping the limits.

Why up the limits when the beer already sells out quickly? Only means less people get beer. Just sayin'

The expansion next door indicates otherwise.

Topical Depression cans are tasting incredible right now. Straight juice. Crack em if you've got em.

That's my plan too. Hopefully I'll have enough time Saturday.

Whalez aside I'm willing to withhold my judgement until Saturday based solely on whether I do or don't get the beer I want.

I'm not too worried though. Most beers last a few hours longer because people aren't maxing out their allotment in the first place.

While I am surprised the limits are being upped without more beer being brewed, I'll bet less than a handful of people buy more than or 4 4pks of each beer. I'll roll through in the afternoon as I always do, and pick up some of whatever is left. Waiting on line for beer sucks, considering how much great beer is being made locally now.

with football starting on sunday i feel the upped limits will cause the beer to sell out quicker. good thing there are 3-4 other cans being released tomorrow/saturday.

if all 4 are case limits, and all 4 are $18 per 4 pack, I doubt many people are going to spend $432 on one weekend.

Funny, I opened one last week and couldn't finish it. Maybe I'll try again.

If I wanted to go crazy I could do: Greenpoint Beer and Ale and Interboro on Friday followed by Other Half and Finback on Saturday. A fully stocked fridge of 9 different local 4-packs for game day sounds pretty sweet. Hit up KCBC for some crowlers too since were talking crazy.

This batch of Double Mosaic Dream is tasting fantastic. The same batch is on tap in the tasting room if anyone wants to try it.

Will we ever see single hop citra or mosaic in cans again? The can releases of those have been the best OH beers to date imo.
